The smell of rust stings my nose, my body is weak with exhaustion, and the pool of bloody water is making my skin prune. I lift my hands to my face feeling my crinckeled skin and wishing at that moment I had a towel or something to shake this unwelcomed chill.I hear the low grumble of the monster standing over me, the putrid smell steaming off of it; makes me want to vomit.
" I'm Lecko", he hisses.
I try to scramble myself away from him, but to no use, he stomps down on me forcing me to stay put.
"What are you doing here?", His voice comes out strained, almost as if he is holding his chin pressed to tightly to his throat. "You're not welcome here!"
I cry out as his scaled foot crushes my face. I feel him putting all of his might down as if to crush my skull.
The agonizing pain is torturous to my body, why is this happening?
Why am I here? who is he and why is he being like this to me? why does this monster want me? What do you think I could have done to wind up in a place like this?
"Did you come to play? Did you come to play with me little girl?" He snaps.
"Why are you doing this? I don't understand!"
I hear a roar of laughter, he's a monster, a monster, and that's all he is. The intense pressure lifts off my face and I can't tell why,or where he's gone, he's just simply vanished. But I do know, that I'm finally free to force myself up off of this cold, and disgusting floor.
There's a red mist coming out of nowhere from the far left side of my eyes. I can see it. The mist is trailing closer to me, and I can't figure out where to run. There's nothing besides, circles cut into the brick walls of this unbelievably scary place.
I run to take refuge inside the far right circle in front of me, thinking that I can hopefully get away from the red mist coming towards me, I cover my face with my hands once I'm in the circle.
There's no time to try to find somewhere else. I wait for it to come, holding my face tightly between my arms, I've never seen anything like this place. It's comparable to a dungeon.
I can tell when the red mist reaches me, it's hard to breathe; even with my arms covering my face, I try hard not to breathe in as much as possible, but soon I find my lungs burning and stinging. My nose begins to bleed and my eyes begin to water.
I find myself giving in to the red mist, not fighting it anymore, my knees begin to buckle, I vomit from choking on the mist; the taste is like I'm sucking on a penny, and I pass out.
I wake in a startle, my hands are bound to a golden bed, that has spikes surrounding; most likely so I can't get away. I feel the dry crusted blood on my face, and taste the left over vomit on my tongue.
The air smells like a familiar cologne, one that I can't place, but I know I've smelled it somewhere before. I'm trying to naw off the ropes that are so tight on my skin.
The room starts to dim, I can barely make out what's right in front of me. I can hear things crawling up to me from the foot of the bed. My stomach tightens and I can't help but scream.
All kinds of insects come rushing up at my legs, I can feel them crawling all over my stomach and making their way to my face. The room starts shaking and flashing all at once. I try to keep my mouth shut so they can't come in, but one crawls into my ear.
"Play time! Play time! You've come to be with me!" The monster snarles sitting at the foot of the bed.
"Where did he come from? How does he do that! His outfit is golden like the bed with purple rose patterns. He's sitting cross legged, clapping fanatically at the bugs filling into me.
The black scales are flickering red glowing sparks. He rubs his legs together really hard, making scraping noises; as if two stones were being rubbed together very violently. The bed catches on fire, his laugh echos threw the room, I can hear it even with the bugs in my ears. My tears mean nothing as they travel into my eye sockets.
