~Crash Landing Into Your Life~

Grapey's Star travelled down to earth, crash landing behind a bush. He never intended on such a rough landing but it happened anyways. "Ow." Grapey dusted off his pants and shook his leg free from the branches. He fixed his outfit, a white suit coat and shirt with white trousers. Star's always dressed in black amongst the skies, but the color of their clothes changed to white when out and about. Grapey always wondered why, but it was just something with no meaning behind it.

He looked up at the sky, the buildings looming over the small tree's. He saw the big crowd up ahead and checked his watch again. A digital screen popping up, this time he swiped left and spoke into the device. "Kim Seokjin." His screen loaded for a moment before he received the satellite location of the man who wished upon his Star. The search narrowed down and the live video of the man played on his screen, a circle around which human was Grapey's target. Grapey straightened his back and took a deep breath. "Let's go make some dreams come true." He chuckled at his cliché phrase and followed the directions to where Kim Seokjin was standing.

...

It's New Years Eve, I stood outside, bundled up in a jacket, standing on the beach. I watched the stars fill the sky and waited for the clock to turn 12. We weren't the only ones there, hundreds of people had come out tonight to watch the fireworks go off, to watch a new year dawn upon us. It was kind of sad really, everyone's riled up with excitement, waiting for the right moment to wish and dream and make resolutions. Going into the new year with so much hope and wonder, so much innocence, but somewhere along the way, we destroy that same innocence, or let it ruin us.

I wrapped my scarf tighter around my self, burying my face into the soft wool, and my hands deep into my pockets. Had I known it would be this cold I would've worn something warmer underneath my jacket. Taehyung was jumping from person to person, introducing himself, smile wide on his face; loving the people he met, although being strangers until 2 seconds ago. "Taehyung-ah!" I called over, waving my hand so he could see me. I watched his face light up, and his body run over. His body tipping from side to side as he tripped over the bumps in the sand with his two left feet.

I laughed his cute antics, as he reached me out of breath. The biggest smile spread across his lips, as if he'd just seen a cute child, excited to make them laugh. "Jin Hyung!" He flung his arms around me, crushing me in a welcoming, warm hug. "You made it!" He jumped and squealed into my poor ears. "Yes. Yes. I made it." I pushed his body away and chuckled at him hanging onto my body for dear life. "I'm just so happy you're here." He rubbed his face into my neck, snuggling me like a teddy bear.

"Oh, okay." I threw my head back and laughed. "You're so weird." I smiled into his face and he shot his famous smile into my face. It was surprising that he didn't wear a face mask because he was indeed famous. People recognized him from miles away. I stuck my hands back into my pockets. "You ready for a new year?" Taehyung bumped me with his elbow lightly. "Yeah." I looked at the waters. "I'm so ready." Taehyung's eyes grew fond and darkened. "Ha-neul would be so proud of you hyung." Hearing his name, caused my body to freeze in place. I could still his body dangling at the mention of his name. The dark images playing over and over again from seeing him last.

"Y-Yeah." I chocked on my words. Looking up at the beautiful sky that day brought so much peace and forgiveness. "Yeah, I'm sure he is." My voice broke with the tears crackling on my cheeks, like igniting matches down my face, sparking a flame. "Oh, hyung." Taehyung held me in his embrace and I fell to my knees sobbing out, ignoring the stares. I retreated to the floor and curled up into a ball. Taehyung stood there as I shut him out. "Hyung." He tried to pull me to my feet, but it didn't work.

He looked around and then the sky captured his vision. "Look hyung! Look at the stars! Let's make a wish." Taehyung smiled at me and I looked at the stars seeing his face in them. "Okay." I gave in quickly thinking it would help me. "Stand up." He pulled on my arm and secured me in place. "Let's wish on that star, right there." He pointed to the brightest one in the sky. "Hm?" I nodded my head as his kind eyes captured mine. "Okay." I closed my eyes, sniffling loudly.

I wish...for happiness.

I felt a weight lift off my chest. Please. Give me happiness, save me from my corrupt mind. "HYUNG!" Taehyung tapped my shoulder dangerously. I opened my eyes and he turned my face to the sky. It's falling. My eyes grew wide and the shouts grew louder, everyone watched the sky. The same star we'd spoken to was falling. I watched it score across the sky as it moved fast. Something about it gave me so much comfort. It fucked with my emotions, capturing my heart with its light, until I poured my heart out watching the stars fly by. "What did you wish for?" Taehyung asked me. I smiled at him to the best of my ability. "Nothing much." I cried into my hands and Taehyung patted my back, amazed my the sight too. It went so fast, but for a moment, it slowed down. I felt somehow connected to that star that fell.

Not piecing together why, I just watched. My heart calmed, the aching soothed. This beautiful feeling, the calming feeling of being normal was just the start, if only I'd known what was waiting behind me, I would have looked back faster.
