POV: Katie
When I heard the name I froze and my heart dropped.
I walked up to professor mcgonagall and the next thing I saw was a blonde hair girl with green eyes standing next to me when I got there.
I smiled and tears started coming out of my eyes Mia and I ran up to her and we hugged each other really tight, we were both crying tears of joy.
I hadn't seen her since I got my letter to hogwarts and now here she, hugging me so tight I couldn't breathe but what surprise me was that Mia was also a witch.
A POV:
Mia was also homeschooled for 2 years because her dad was also scared to send her.
'mias parents are muggles I guess' Katie thought
"it's lovely you girls reunited but you need to be sorted into your houses which I'm sure you know what each one is called so let's go" Mcgonagall said
Katie and Mia's arms were wrapped around each other as they followed McGonagall.
They finally reach the sorting hat Mia went first
"hmm......I think.........yes that's it
Gryffindor!" The sorting hat shouted
Katie really wanted to be in Gryffindor now even though her mothers family has always been in slytherin for generations and her dads family has always been in either ravenclaw or gryffindor.
Katie sat in a chair and the hat was put on her head
"hmm difficult very difficult I think........
Well this is very hard......you would be great in slytherin and very good in gryffidor.....better be..... Slytherin!" The hat shouted
She was pissed. All her friends were in gryffindor.
mcgonagall was about to take them to the great hall once both of them were done but a boy had walked in.
"Where were you? I hadn't seen you in the crowd that's why I hadn't called your name but where on earth were you?" Mcgonagall had said
"Well I'm here now so can I get sorted please?"the boy said
"Yes but you watch that time mister" she snapped
"Oh and by the way do you know where the other boys could be?" Mcgonagall asked the boy
"No ma'am" he responded
Katie's POV:
I have no idea who this boy was all I wanted to do was get to the great hall already I was starving
"Okay mr. Francis, please sit" mcgonagall had said and he did what she told him when I turn to Mia she was gone
"Miss where's Mia?" I ask
"She left and I thought you would've followed her" she responded
I was curious to know his house
"It's fine I'll wait till your done" I say
"Slytherin!" The hat shouted
