Chapter 9

Katie's POV:

Killian hasn't come back, but what do I it's not my problem. I leave and go down to the great hall go dinner.

I get there 30 minutes early cause I'm bored and there's nothing else to do

I sit there and decide to go to the library instead, I mean, what was I thinking, going to the great hall 30 freaking minutes early.

When I get to the library I take a book called "werewolf's and everything you need to know about them"

When I saw the title I had to read it, it sounds so interesting, as a kid I've always loved dogs and when I heard about werewolves I couldn't wait to learn about them but my mother told me to wait till hogwarts to learn about them, cause she thought teaching me everything about them was a waste of time.

All she ever taught me were the basics which sucked but at least now I can learn about werewolves whenever I want

not just werewolves, vampires, merfolk, and many more.

I take my book and sit down, but as soon as I open the book I get the urge to leave

"Hey didn't expect to see you here" a familiar voice says

I look up and see killian who has a smirk on his face and sits across from me

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"Same thing as you, reading" he responds as he holds up a book in his hand

"Cool. Oh by the way where were you?" I ask him

"Why? We're you waiting for me or something?" He asks

"Well, actually, I kinda was, it was so boring and I had no one to talk to, I mean besides Harry but that lasted only a few minutes" I say

"Well i guess you might have to make do with how you spend your time" he says with a chuckle

I don't know how to respond to that all I do is sigh and down at my book

"Hey, don't be like that, I was only joking, of course I wouldn't mind hanging out with you during free periods, I had nothing to do myself so it'll be no problem, we can also study together" he says

And for some reason this comforts me that I don't have to be alone, I mean I do have some friends but they're all in gryffindor

I look up and smile

"Thank you" I exclaimed

"It's no problem really" he says

We both spend the next 20 minutes reading.

I get up to go to the dining room when a cold soft hand grabs my wrist.

I turn to see killian standing. How the hell did he get up so fast

"Wait don't go let's stay for a few more minutes" he says

"How about we go to the great hall to get some food and we can come back after, but please, if you don't mind, please let go of my hand" I say to him even though he isn't even holding my wrist tight he shouldn't just do that

He lets go

"Sorry I just don't want to be left alone, surly you could under stand that" he says

"Wait your not coming to the great hall?" I ask

"Um no I don't really want to but if you really want to go you can, I just sit here alone waiting for you, that is if you come back" he explained

What is he doing to my head, now I feel bad for wanting to go, but I'm hungry.

"Well im going to go get food but I will come back, so long as your still here when I get back" I say in response

"Of course, I will wait here for milady and shall not dare move for this spot" he says in an old accent while putting one hand on his heart and the other hand up

We both then giggle

"Okay you do that sir killian and I shall come back as soon as I'm done" I say doing the same hand thing as him

He smiles then I leave
