"Well, this is fun." I complained to Merlin as he polished Arthur's armor and I washed Gwen's dresses.
Gwen and Arthur were married. They were king and queen while Merlin and I were their servants still. Fair, right?
"Tons of fun." Merlin added. "We are almost done though. When we are, we could go to the spot." He smiled.
"Ok." I sweetly reeturned a smile.
The spot was our place to hide away and we were free to use magic. Nobody would find out.
We finished up our work and left the castle to our spot. It was in a small part of the forest.
We sat down and laughed, talked, did magic, the usual.
"Watch this." Merlin put his hand up and said a spell. Right before my eyes was a red flame in the form of a Dragon. It spun and did tricks and soon disappeared into the air like dust.
"Yea? watch this." I put my hands up in the air and spoke the spell and made a bigger flame Dragon to top his.
He smirked and said a spell creating two tiny blue human figures to go with the Dragon.
The Dragon and figures disappeared.
He said another spell and showed magic blue flames in the form of us. I stared at it in awe. He watched my ammused face and softly smiled.
"It's so beautiful." I commented.
"I tried making it realistic." He chuckled and blushed.
"It's just... Amazing." I smiled and played on my back, staring up at the flames as they soon disappeared into the air.
"I'm glad you like it." He laid beside me and took my hand. I accepted it and our fingers became intertwined.
I scooted closer to him and hugged him close. He laid a soft kiss on my head and I could feel my face beginning to resemble a strawberry.
I looked up at him and gave him a sweet smile.
"One day, magic will be welcome and you and I can show the people that it's a beautiful not wicked thing." He leaned on an arm and looked at me in the eyes deeply.
"That day will come soon. I can feel it." I copied his move and put a hand on his cheek.
He softly smiled and held my hand up against his cheek. The gap between us was soon closed as our lips met. His lips were warm and soft against mine. He grabbed me and pulled me onto his lap, not breaking the kiss.
Everything was going wonderful... Until we heard... "Dear God..." Damn it was Arthur and two a few of his knights.
"Shit..." I whispered under my breath, climbing off of Merlin and blushing like hell...
"Well..." Arthur shrugged. "I already expected it. You two are way too obvious about things." Arthur trotted off.
"Nice Merlin." The knights grinned and winked.
"We should... Get back to work?" Merlin tried finding an excuse to make things less awkward.
"Yea..." We. stood awkwardly. I took his hand and began walking, him close behind.
"You know I love you, right?" Merlin chanted.
"Always." I kissed his cheek
