The Night We Meet

July 31st 2016: Best Weekend Of My Life- People Meet Me and I Meet People.

It was like 2 hours after I went to bed 5 a.m. alarm went off. I turned it off before it could wake Riley up. I looked at the clock and rolled me eyes and then dragged myself out of bed.

Who knew being at my dream event could be so exhausting and such a lack of sleep?

I finally got up and made my bed. I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. Then threw on the first set of gym clothes that I could find. It wound up being black and red spandex shorts and a red tank top. I put on a pair of my workout socks and my black sneakers and walked back into the bathroom and put my hair into a messy bun. And then my phone went off... Really loud. "Oops." I said myself realizing that I forgot to turn it off:

Connor: "Open the door women."

I rolled my eyes as I grabbed my hotel room key, my wallet, and my headphones. I managed to make it to the door, in the dark, without tripping over anything. I opened the door and to find Connor standing there. I smiled. He kissed me. "Hey you." I whispered.

"He you." He said loudly.

"Shhh!!!" I said covering his mouth. "You are going to wake her up... And trust me, she's not a morning person." I shutting the door quietly.

"So, 5:30 in the morning is the perfect time to wake up." Connor said.

"I never knew that you were a morning person." I told him.

"I'm not." He laughed. We were walking down the hallway. We stopped at the vending machine for bottles of water.

"Yeah, but we are probably the only lunatics who would get about and hour and a half of sleep just to go to the gym." I told him.

"True. Who knew the show would run that late last night?" Connor said.

"I know. Literally we didn't get done with the meet-and-greet until about 3:30." I said as we continued walking to the gym that was on the fourth floor.

"I know, and w didn't get back to our rooms until about four." I said hitting the elevator buttons.

"But it was an amazing show." Connor said.

"I know, it was, and the fans seemed to love it." I continued to say to him.

"I still can't believe that you called me out in front of about five hundred fans." Connor said.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"When you sang our song and made me come out there."

"Oh you loved it." I smiled holding the door open the door to the gym for him.

"No it was embarrassing." He told me.

"It was? I thought you liked it?" I asked.

"I'm kidding. I loved it. It was amazing." Connor told me as I stepped onto the treadmill. He got on the one right next to me.

"Those better have been a joke." I said playfully hitting him,

"It was. That was amazing. And the crowd seemed to like it too," He told me.

"Well, thank you. But, lets continue this conversation in about a half hour." I said starting my machine. He leaned over and kissed me and said okay. And we started our workout... At twenty to six in the morning...

Oh lord... The things I do to live my dreams...

We walked out of he gym with have drank water bottles at about twenty to seven. "Glad that's over."
