Chapter 25: Penny

Benni pov:
   While the boys and their new friends were in school I walked around town a bit. It was a nice day out today. I got lost in my thoughts and then I bumped into someone...they fell back too. "Oh! I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention!" They said. "It's fine...I usually don't bump into people like this..." I said. The girl in front of me had a short gray dress with neon green designs on it. She also has gray leggings on. She had orange(or ginger) hair. Then she instantly sprung up and extended her hand out to me to help me up. "I'm Penny!" She said. I took her hand. "Benni." I said as she helped me stand up. "So does this mean we're friends?" She asked. "Uhhhhh....sure....why not?" I said with an awkward smile. Penny's eyes lit up and she pulled me into a tight hug. "Ooooo! Thank you so much Benni!" She said. "Uh-No problem! But-uh-I can't really breathe..."I said. "Oh! Right! Sorry!" She said letting me go. "It's fine!" I said with a small smile. "Oh! Benni! Why aren't you in school? Like most of the other girls and boys?" Penny asked. "Oh! Well...I don't really have parents and I don't really care much for going to school...or making friends..."I said. "But why not?" Penny asked. "I-uh....I actually don't know...but what ever reason I have it's complicated ok!" I said. "Oh I see...I'm actually new around here....so can you show me around?" She asked. I sighed. "Why not...it's not like I'm doing anything important right now..."I said.

Penny pov:
I need to find Ruby and the others! Thankfully I made a new friend and she's showing me around the city...little does she know, I'm also looking for Ruby. "Hey Penny." Benni said. "Yeah?" I answered. "What's with the backpack thing?" She asked. Oh no oh no oh no! What do I say!? "Um it's just...nothing..."I said...then hiccuped. I looked around and I saw Ruby! I smiled and ran to her. "RUBY!" I screamed jumping on her. "PENNY!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!? WON'T YOUR FATHER BE UPSET ABOUT THIS!?" Ruby said. "I don't care! There's something you and the others need to know!" I said. I got off of her and look behind her. I saw the rest of Team RWBY in shock and a bunch of boys who looked really confused. "Wait a minute...is that Benni over there?" The one with green hair asked. "Yep. Looks like it." The one with blue hair said. I looked back at Benni and she waved. "We don't have time for this! You, Team RWBY and the Knights need to hear this!" I said grabbing Ruby's shoulders. "Well what are you waiting for!? Out with it!" The blue haired boy said. "Ok but it has something to do with the White Fang and Grimm and this world." I said.
