⁂ Piper's POV ⁂
⁂ Ohio, Piper's house ⁂
"Are you sure that we have to move Keelin?" Aunt Keelin nodded. After Uncle Corey's death all Keelin did was move after something reminded her of him. Every time it hurt Piper more seeing her aunt in pain. No one knew that Corey would die so soon. He was healthy, didn't smoke, didn't drink, and was fit. Piper knew that yet she never questioned it. It was only her and her aunt Keelin. Her mother and father both didn't want her. They said it was because they weren't ready for a child then left me alone in a basket with a note that read "Keelin I'm very sorry but you know we can't control her. The first born needs a first born mother. Help her please. Her name is Piper. Take care Darling. ~ Maribeth". I don't know why they didn't want me. I mean I think I'm a good daughter... but no one knows what the first born raised by a first born meant. Piper was the name my parents gave me but my friends call me Pip. Anyone could understand taking care of a child is hard but I never cried nor fussed. I love my aunt with all my heart and I don't want to ever meet my real parents. So that's me Piper Drake I'm weird, funny, and if I do say so myself I'm pretty beautiful. Who would think that every time I move it's worse than the last. "Piper!!! Snap out of it! Earth to Piper!" I went back to reality. "Okay Keelin I just have to get my bag and we can go." I ran up the stairs as fast as I could and in two seconds I had my suitcase and was downstairs giving my bags to Keelin. Keelin put them in the moving van and yelled. "Piper get the toast! I don't want us to leave on a empty stomach!" And so I ran inside with my heels hitting the tile floor. "Got it!" I yelled. I ran back to the car and hopped in. "Keelin do they have sports at this school?" I asked "Yes Piper just like the time you asked yesterday and the day before and before and before and bef-" I hit her arm. "Owww." She screeched. "We'll you never stop unless I do that." I shook my head and then placed it on the window. I close my eyes and drift off after 15 minutes. I wake up to a skid. I was pulled back by my seatbelt. "Sorry Kiddo!" Keelin said. "It's fine Keelin. I promise." My back ached, my head throbbed, and my foot is asleep great. In the middle of traffic nothing to do... except OHH! My phone it's in my back pocket. I reached in the back pocket of my skinny jeans. I pulled my phone out and checked the battery percent. Ugh! %13 great! "Keelin do you have a charger?" I asked. "Yep right in the glove compartment." I opened the glove compartment. "At the bottom?" I questioned. "Where else?" Keelin sang. I unbuckled and reached down. "Also almost there 2 more minutes." Wait two minutes? I checked the time on my phone. I've been in this car for 3 hours? Time is passing by. I saw the charger and the next thing I knew was I was on the pavement with black spots in my eyes. That's the last thing I saw before I blacked out. I saw a boy about my age 15 or 16. I woke up in a hospital bed. "Keelin?" I whispered. "Hello Piper. I'm doctor Beaker your mother is in the next room over." The doctor said. "Aunt... my aunt..." I corrected. Then I fell out of consciousness.
