"How was your adventure?" I asked Harry while Hermione skipped ahead in front of us.
"Well I saw Draco's dad being a bit sketchy."
"Draco's here? Where?"
"Last I saw he was leaving Borgin and burke's."
"Oh...That place is magnificent, isn't it?"
"Er, no. It's pretty dodgy, y/n."
"I think it's amazing."
Hermione scoffed, Harry ran forward and I was left walking slowly behind towards the book shop.
'𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅, 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 '𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕'. 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒃𝒆 𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒑𝒊𝒅!'

"Oh Harry, thank goodness, we hoped you'd only gone one grate too far!" Molly called, pulling Harry into a hug and then brushing soot off of him.
"Where did you come out?" Ron asked as we moved next to him in the shop.
"Knockturn alley." Said Harry, sounding worried for the reaction.
"It was awesome!" I squealed out, not being able to contain my excitement.
"Excellent! You'd have to tell us about it." Fred and George spoke together, pulling Harry and I into side hugs. "Mum won't let us go there."

"Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Gilderoy Lockhart!"
Loads of people gasped, looking towards the back of the shop.
"Mum fancies him." Ron mumbled to Harry, both of them pulling disgusted faces at the man in front.
"Make way there please! Out of the way, little girl, this is for the daily prophet." A small man pushed through the crowd with a camera.
'𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒆.'
I looked around the shop, everyone was staring in awe at the handsome man, well everyone apart from the twins, Percy, Ron and Harry.
Noticing blonde hair staring down at us from the top as I looked up, I saw Draco, his eyes flicking between Harry, Ron, Hermione and I, so, naturally, I shifted my way out of the crowd and towards the stairs.

"Hey Draco!" I said excitedly, eyeing the book in his hands and reading 'Basilisk' on a piece of paper he ripped out of it, before he snapped it shut and shoved it in his robe pocket. "What's that you got there?" I asked curiously, staring at the robe pocket he had just put the book and paper in.
"Nothing y/n. Go away."
"Why?"
"Don't want anything to do with... Doesn't matter." He turned back to look below.
"What were you about to say? Go on, finish that sentence."
"Nothing."
"Are you ok, Draco?" He ignored me and continued to glare at the scene.

"It can't be, Mr Harry Potter?" The man, known as Gilderoy Lockhart spoke aloud, earning gasps from around him. The small man from a few minutes ago pulled Harry up to where Lockhart was standing. Draco's nostrils flared and he tensed up, muttering 'Famous Harry Potter. I shouldn't be trying to help him.'
"Help him? Help him how?"
"What? What? I didn't say anything like th-that!" He snapped, moving further away from me.
"Fine. Be like that." I whispered and began collecting the books needed for this school year.

"He only wanted to buy my autobiography, he didn't know that he'd in fact be leaving... with my entire collected works! Free of charge."
I shuffled into the crowd, watching Harry squirm under the grasp of the taller man holding his shoulders.
"Uhhh, here." I whispered to Ron, handing him the books. I got 4 copies of the ones we needed, one for Harry, one for me, one for Ron and one for Hermione. Which meant 8 books each, obviously.
