A/N: " This is another emotion driven story.. It may be very emotional; and I may cry again. I wanted to come up with a chapter that gave you Tomoes origin. Where he came from and who his real parents are/were So sit back for a flashback story.

I was Different.

Tomoe stared up at the clouds and sighed in annoyance. Mikage had forbidden him to move; or clean. He ground his teeth in irritation. He had too much energy to be sitting around and staring at the clouds all day! He moved and winced as his side jerked. Even Inari told him to do nothing. He cursed at a large ache in his tail. Oh CRAP! It hurt so bad! There had to be something he could do...

"Tomoe I'm going to go get some blankets from a store in town." Mikage walked in and paused. The room was cold but not from the weather outside. It was cold from the kitsunes attitude.

Tomoe glared at him and his tail wagged.

The blond god chuckled, He should have know Tomoe would be mad. The kid hated sitting around and doing nothing. It wasn't his nature. The god smiled," Would you like to come?"

The fox looked at him with wide eyes; then his ears flattened and he looked down, innocently.

"I can not. My side...." He trailed off and sighed. A curse came out of his mouth as he tugged at his hakamashita.

Mikage smiled, " Your just walking; as long as you don't pull or lift anything you can come."

Tomoe looked at him with wide eyes and his ears perked. He opened his mouth but then snapped it close in embarrassment. He had almost let his excitment show.

"Alright..Let me get ready and I'll come.." Tomoe stood up slowly; wobbling back and forth. Mikage winced and prepared to catch the teen. The fox steadied himself and bit his lip. HIs mouth parted as pain ranked his pain but he looked up.

"I'll be ready in a minute."

Mikage nodded and winced. Maybe he shouldn't have invited Tomoe. The poor kid was so unsteady on his feet he could run into a wall or somthing. The god walked out of the room and went into the living room.

Inari was reading his ususal newspaper. The harvest god looked up, " What are you up too?"

Mikage smiled and poured himsef some tea, " I'm taking Tomoe on a trip to town."

Inair nearly choked and looked at Mikage shocked, " In his condition?"

Mikage chuckled, " I want him to have some entertainment! He's been brooding in his room ever since he woke up. He doesn't like being confined."

The harvest god sighed and shook his head, " I've noticed, " He smirked, " Thats what a lot of kitsunes do. They have access energy."

The blond god sighed, " Teenagers..."

They here a loud thud and then Tomoe stumbled in. He looked at them annoyed; Clearly he heard their conversation. He was wearing a violet Yukata and the haori half-coat that Sobo had given him. He held a fan in his clawed hand and the fox flicked it open. As if he had owned one all his life. His violet eyes flashed with pain probably from his side.

"Are we going?"

Mikage smiled and nodded, " Come Tomoe. Let's see the town!"
