Fever

Mikage helped Tomoe get back to the shrine but it was difficult. The fox stumbled and winced; Mikage knew he didn't want the help and he knew that Tomoe didn't want to see him.. But.. He coulnd't let Tomoe die from this fever!

He didn't understand it but, Tomoe looked terrified before his fever made him black out. Mikage had to wake him up.. But when Tomoe opened his eyes and saw the water?

His eyes grew wide and he clung to the banister in complete fear; as if the waters were going to suck him in and take everything away from him.

Tomoe coughed and groaned out in pain, He was soaked by the warm rain and Mikage made a barrier so that the rain couldn't hit him anymore. The god helped the fox and noticed the shrine in the distance. He sighed in relief and then started to help Tomoe up the steps.

The shrine's door was thrust open and Inari stood there with wide eyes,

"Whats wrong?"

Mikage looked at him and Tomoe looked up; his eyes were glassed over and his legs trembled.

"Fever."

Inari nodded and felt Tomoe's head, He winced and looked around. He got on the other side of the fox and they sat him next the living room table. Tomoe shuddered and almost plopped over in his spot.

His hair was sopping wet and he maoned again; He clenched his fists and hugged himself tightly. His breathing was harsh and Inari looked at Mikage worried,

" Its too High... Even for a demon its bad."

Mikage looked at him worried and he sat down, " What can you do?"

Inari sighed and looked at the god, " Not much."

Mikage froze up his spot; he looked at Tomoe who was struggling to breath. His breathing hitched and he looked pained. Inari fixed something, it looked like a green powder, then he added it to some water and made sure Tomoe stomached it. He swallowed and coughed rapidly.

Mikage whimpered, He just found his son; he wanted the chance to treat hi like one and he was almost dying from the fever. He was worried and he wondered what Elisa would have done. Would she have rocked the kid back and forth and tell he would be fine?
