"Lucy do you have your tablet? I'm not coming home to get it this time." Jack said, scooping up our seven year old daughter, named after Luke, to rest her on his hip.

"I put it in mommy's bag." She smiled as he tickled her sides with his fingers.

"Okay." He grinned before kiss attacking her chubby cheeks.

"Peyton! We gotta go!" Jack yelled, not realizing I was right behind him.

"Yeah I know," I said and watched him jump.

"Holy shit." He jumped.

"Daddy! Swear jar!" Lucy said.

"Okay, munchkin I'll get right on that." He said before shaking his head at me.

"Andrew, Clayton!" I yelled for my oldest two sons as I fussed with my youngest son, Cole, as he was trying to fight me on his shoes. "I'm gonna count to three!"

"Mom, that doesn't work on us anymore we're 17." Drew said as he turned the corner with a snarky smile.

"I wasn't counting for you two, I was counting for Cole." I said, placing Cole on his feet. "But if I was counting for you..."

"Oh we'd be running." Clay said.

"What a little bitch." Drew teased him, earning a smack from me before picking up his younger brother and blowing a raspberry on his belly. "We'll meet you there." He said, grabbing his car keys and running out the front.

I picked up Cole and my purse before locking the door and heading out. After I secured my son in his car seat I climbed in the front of Jack's black suburban.

"Seriously Peyton, doing great if we were trying to be twenty minutes late." Jack teased.

"Imagine all the time we'd save if you started driving instead of chirping." I smiled sarcastically before Jack stuck his tongue out at me and threw the car in reverse.

The car ride was filled with the background noise of Toy Story playing for Lucy and Cole as Jack and I planned for our weekend.

"Can you grab my phone? It's buzzing." Jack said, pushing his hip toward me as he drove.

"Just leave it." I laughed.

"No, it feels odd." He wiggled.

I slid his phone out of his front pocket and sure enough on the screen was Trevor's goofy grin.

"Hey, T." I smiled as I accepted the call.

"Hey beautiful, you guys close?" He asked.

"Pulling up right now." Jack said as he turned into the parking lot.

"I see ya." He said before ending the call.

Lucy excitedly started jumping around in her car seat at the sight of Uncle Trevor and Aunt Christina, who practically ripped the door off the hinges to get to her.
