Chapter 2: The Arrival

Aika and her mother shortly landed and finally got to their new home. Aika looks up in excitement. "We're living here?!" She says as she stares at her new home. Her mother looked at her "Yes, welcome to our new home!" Aika frowns and looks around the ground. She tends to do that when she's upset. Her mother knows that. She looked at Aika frowning.

"I miss him to baby." A tear begins to form down Aika's cheek. "It's just sad how we're in a new home without him." she says. "I just miss him so much, it's so hard." Aika's mother hugs her tightly. "I know baby." She then smiles "But luckily I brought this." She then brings out a blue stuffed bear. Aika's face then

began to light up. "No way!" she says in excitement. "You brought Mr. bear! I can't believe I almost forgot him." (The stuffed bear, is what her father gave her when she was younger.) "Let's get inside now, shall we?" Aika's mother says smiling. "Yes, we shall." Aika then says laughing. After they got all settled in Aika's mother called her down for dinner.

"So how do you feel about your new school tomorrow?" Aika's mother said. Aika looks at her. "I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, nervous? or maybe sad?" she then pauses. "I don't know." She says. Her mom looks at her "listen babe, it's going to be alright. You're going to fit in just fine because the Aika I know is a confident, intelligent, funny beautiful young woman." Aika smiles then hugs her. "Mom I'm only 17 don't give up on me that easily."

Her mother smiles. She then looks at her watch. "It's past my bedtime." She says. Aika laughed and told her mother she loved her. Then she began to prepare for bed. *in Aika's room* Aika hugged the bear. "Oh please daddy let tommorow be a good day. I miss you." Then she layed down for bed.

*Alarm goes off* Aika raises her head and rubs her eyes. She then gets ready and heads downstairs. Aika jumps "pancakes! yes!" Aika's mother smiles. "Yes, your favorite." 20 minutes or so passes by and Aika hugs her mother goodbye and tells her she loves her. She then gets into her car and begins to drive to school. "Good thing WATTmaps work these days." Aika says rolling her eyes. "I would be completely lost right now if they haven't." She then laughs. "I need to stop laughing at myself so much." Aika says.

Aika arrives at the school. "Jeez this school is huge." Aika says in disbelief. She then walks into the doors. She looks at her schedule walking from door to door. "Need some help?" Aika looks back and sees a young girl about her age with short purple hair and tanned skin. "Y-yes that would be great thank you." The girl smiles. "The names Ariel, but ari for short." She says. Aika smiles "The names Aika, just Aika." They both laugh. "Well hello there just Aika." Ari says grinning.

Aika laughs. "Who's your first period?" Ari says. Aika looks down at her schedule and says her teachers name. "Oh, we have first period together isn't that a coincidence." Says Ari. "Oh that's great." Says Aika. They then walk to first period beside eachother. "Hey I have to use the bathroom real quick." Says Aika. Ari looks at her and points "Good thing the bathroom and our class are right next to eachother." Ari says. "See you in a few." Aika says waving to Ari.

Aika begins to hurry to the bathroom so she could get back in time to get to class. While looking down to see the time she stumbled into a tall musclular boy with brown curly hair. "I-I'm so sorry!" Aika says. He starts to respond to her but she's already ran inside the bathroom before he could speak. "I wonder who she is, I've never seen here around here before." Says the boy.

Aika slaps her forehead over and over again. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" She said. "I can't believe that happend on the first day." She says still hitting her forehead. She then cools down and goes back to class when she is through. She walks into the classroom just in time for the bell to ring.

She then begins to stumble into the classroom looking into her surroundings. She stops beside the teachers desk. "Hello, you must be Aika." Aika looks at her and smiles. "Yep, that's me." She says nervously. "Hello class this is our new student Aika keening." The teacher says. Aika looks around at the students and sees him. "No way, the dude I stumbled into at the bathroom." She thinks to herself. "Damnit why does this have to happen to me?" She says. "It's like I'm living inside of a story. (teehee;)) she thinks to herself once again. The boy looks at her blushing.
