Twilight woke up, rubbing her eyes at the alarm clock blaring. Another day of books and--

Crap! What day was it?!

She pulled up her phone, nearly squealing at the date.

Tuesday! After a crazy week of inventions and conferences and awkward moments with Timber and Flash, Tuesday had arrived.

And on this Tuesday, something special awaited her. For today was the day she'd meet Sonic in Soleanna.

She eagerly sprang from her bed, grabbing her glasses and rushing for her closet. She needed something to wear. Something that would certainly catch Sonic's eye. Something that--

BAMBAMBAM!

"Twilight!" Rainbow Dash called. "Are you up?"

"Yeah, come in!" Twilight called.

Her friends darted in, whirling about in their casual cruise outfits. "Don't tell me you were sleeping in?" Sunset teased. "You're going with Queen Celestia to Soleanna for that meeting, remember?"

That's right! She'd be going to Soleanna anyway! This would make sneaking off to find Sonic easier.

Twilight giggled. "Lemme get changed." She quickly fished out her navy and pink starred dress and her heeled sandals. It didn't take her super long to get ready as she quickly brushed her hair into her traditional ponytail.

"You're lucky, Twilight. Soleanna is one of the most fashionable kingdoms in the world," Rarity squealed. "You'll have to bring me back some fancy jewelry or something."

"No promises, Rarity." Twilight scratched her head. "Maybe I'll bring back a guy," she teased.

"A guy???" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "Who could you possibly be seeing?"

"Just a guy," Twilight assured her friend.

As she grabbed her purse, her fingers grazed upon a single blue quill. She'd found it on the balcony after Sonic left the last time he saw her.

He seemed to genuinely enjoy her company in his visit. He was so gentle and kind to her....hard to imagine that he regularly went out to thwart the schemes of a fat genius. Or that he acted aggressively about Canterlot to hide his true desire for peace.

For years, she'd been groomed to believe that the Mobians were soul-sucking, bloodthirsty, greedy, selfish, violent creatures incapable of any emotions other than hate, aggression, and malice.

Sonic was certainly different. While no stranger to violence due to his many years fighting Doctor Eggman, Sonic valued freedom, harmony, justice, and peace above all else. The pictures Twilight had seen online of him showcased a young hero willingly throwing his life on the line for those he loved and worked hard to protect. He valued his friends and despite sometimes leaving them hanging, Sonic had come through in the clutch.

He was so brave and so handsome.....how many girls chased him? How many young ladies dreamed of being his princess?

He admitted that of the many girls who sought his friendship, respect, and affection (if he could use that term) only one had managed to make him tongue-tied (which she guessed was his response to saying he was in love).....and that one was Twilight.

But did he actually love her....or was she just another of the many fangirls knocking at Castle Mobius' doors?

Was she good enough for the Hero of Mobius? Was she pretty enough? What exactly did Sonic see in her (besides the fact she could shut him up) that would make him possibly fall for her?
