Ch. 3 "Need someone"

Bella POV

After exploring my surroundings head to toe, I decided to sit right by the couch and I watched Steve and Bucky intently,

They were in the kitchen making...

I smelled the air,

Coffee, eggs and Bacon,

"Umm, Bucky," Steve said as he made eye contact with me,

Bucky looked at me, he made his way to me kneeling in front of me, he put his hand on top of my head as he pet the top of my head,

"Bella, this isn't the Military or war, you don't have to stand watch, oh that reminds me," Bucky said

He dug something out of his pocket,

and attached it to my collar,

"You can relax here this place is safe," Bucky said petting my head, he stood up and started walking away,

I went to follow him but stopped,

after a while they sat on the couch, and watched the TV, I laid my head on the arm of the couch not wanting to lay down,

I felt someone petting my head, it felt so good, I felt my eyes close as I felt the hand pet my head,

Once the hand stopped my eyes opened,

Maybe it would be okay if I laid down, I thought as I looked at Bucky and Steve who were on the couch talking,

I slowly sunk to the floor, My head still up and tall just incase of an intruder,

My ears were back, because let's face it I was fighting my sleep, I groaned because it was getting on my nerves,

I heard a chuckle and see Bucky looking at me, He reached down petting my head,

"Just as stubborn as me huh," He said

Bucky let out a long Yawn,

"Well I'm going to bed, see you tomorrow," Steve said about to leave,

"Okay, thanks for the help," Bucky said

Steve nodded leaving

"What do you say girl a few more hours?" Bucky said

I licked his hand,

"I'll take that as a yes," He said chuckling

After a while, Bucky shut the TV off standing up, I also stood up,

"Come on Bella I have a place for you to sleep," He said patting his leg,

I slowly followed him,

He opened the door to the bedroom at the end of the bed against a wall was a dog bed,

I smelled it, it smelled new,

He chuckled walking into the bathroom, I got in the bed circling a few times finally laying down,

He walked back out to see me in the bed,

"Good girl Bella," He said smiling

He laid in his bed covering himself up,

"Goodnight Bella," He said turning the light off,

I laid my head down on the edge of the dog bed, feeling my eyelids slowly shut,

I woke up not long after hearing Bucky in distress, I slowly stand up seeing him toss in bed,

I walk to the edge of the bed where he is facing and jump in bed with him, that I am laying with him, my head resting on his neck,

His hands slowly wrap around me and he stops flailing, I lick his cheek, and soon I feel my eyes close again,

Maybe I'm not the only one who needs someone, I thought as I drifted off to sleep
