Mac was a fair boy, He lived in the hostel just behind the school building. His parents were from Shimla. They wanted their offspring to be a doctor like his grandparents, but Mac was different, his thoughts were not to be a doctor. He liked to discover the world and hence, wanted to be a pilot. He was in grade 8, In the same school since grade 1. He liked to spend all his time reading history books in the school library. His fellow classmates teased him but Ted Baker, a smart boy - poor in studies but good in sports and curricular activities- was a good friend of him. Being sick from Malaria, he had gone back to his native place in Canada.
It was the very beginning of summer, Mac was late for class, he ran towards his wing in the corridor. After opening the door,
"May I get in, sir?", Mac said breathing restlessly.
"Yes, you can", The teacher said.
While looking outside, Mac noticed dark clouds, circular in shape.
"So children, I want you all to meet your new friend, Zak", The teacher said.
That day, after the class, Mac found Zak in the canteen purchasing chips.
"So, what's your full name?", Mac asked.
"My name is.... Zak Rock"; he replied.
"Where are you from?", Mac asked.
There was no reply from Zak, He walked back to his classroom.
After having Lunch, Mac walked up to the Library. He found Zak there. He came to him and asked,
"Hey?, What are you reading?".
Zak didn't reply and Mac discovered that he was reading a Novel of Sherlock Holmes.
