It's almost Valentine's Day, my least favorite day of the year. Mainly because I never had a Valentine. I was walking towards my locker and saw a sticky note on it. I pick it up and read.

Roses are red

Violets are blue

You know what else is blue?

Your bright blue eyes

So will you be mine?

I look around making sure I wasn't getting pranked or anything. I saw that weird emo kid peek his head around the corner. I didn't think much of it. I stuff the sticky note in my pocket. I was for sure to tape this on my wall when I get home because in fact I never got anything as sweet as this.

I look back at the corner the emo kid was gone. I shrug and slam my locker and head to first hour, which was gym. I go to the locker room and I immediately go straight to my locker. I notice that weird emo kid from before looking over at me, by this time I'm already half naked.

He catches me glaring over at his direction, he looks down on the ground and blushes madly. What's his deal? Today we had to work on are physical fitness test, which meant we had to work with a partner for the sit-ups, teacher chooses partner.

"...And Anthony you're with Ian," the teacher finishes off the list that he was reading off of.

The emo comes up to me, "I'm Anthony."

"I'm Ian," I'm surprised that we have never talked to each other before. Anthony's voice was sexy..wait what!?! I'm into girls not guys or is it the other way around? My head is so confused.

"Do you want to go first?" Anthony asked shyly. Adorable, he's so shy it's so cute.

"Sure," I lay down on the ground, he put his hands on my feet and they got all tingly. The minute we finished the sparks were gone as fast as they came.

At the end of the day I head to my locker. There was another note, but this time it was shaped like a heart.

I felt to hands enclose around me. I look up and see Anthony's face a couple of inches from mine. He leans in and kisses me. I wrap my arms around him, I drop the note wanting it get in the way of are beautiful moment.

He pulls away, "So Ian, will you be mine?"

"Yes," I kiss his nose.

We're like fire and ice, two totally different elements. The expression opposites attracts totally works with us because I'm this happy ball of sunshine and he is the weird emo kid no one loves. I love him and that's all that matters.

"I've been waiting for this answer for a long time," he looks me in the eye.

"How long?" I asks.

"Since we were in sixth grade."
