Chapter 14: Facing the fears

When you finally face the thing that scared you the most.... then, you can call yourself fearless.

Yujin is laying on her bed.. eyes closed but her mind was active.. she was thinking about what to do to cheer chaeyeon up

Earlier

Yujin was smiling while minju is leaning on her.. its not new that both of them are close friends...

Suddenly a shadow caught yujin's attention its not actually a positive shadow more like a sad person.

It caught yujing's attention that's why she asked minju to stay where she is while yujin called for chaewon's assistance.

Walking in an empty lifeless dark hallway... yujin can hear the sobs... seems like the person is really sad

"Chaemin.... no..." that sounds like an soft fading voice, someone is begging for something

"Unnie...." yujin called giving an absolute comforting face

Chaeyeon quickly remove her face on her knee and stand up really fast

"Y-yujin... why you're here?" Chaeyeon has shaky boice and it sound so vulnerable

"What happen?" Yujin asked in real concern tone

Its like both of them where talking in silent, they're only looking at each other no talking... its like their eyes tells what they wanted to say

Eyes tells everything.....

"Nothing... i just r-remember my sister....." chaeyeon said literally lying

"Why are you missing her when you always come to see her in your home?" Yujin cut chaeyeon off guard

Seeing how chaeyeon crumpled and tears started to fall again,if yujin isn't used seeing a situation like this she probably cried with chaeyeon

"I-i l-lied...." chaeyeon muttered giving the exact look when yujin save her...... depressing

"What happen?" Yujin asked again now more concern

Taking a deep breath.... clenching her throat.. yujin knew chaeyeon is ready to talk

"S-since... the day my parents knew about me always coming here..... they started to nag at me about my school.. but my school is actually okay... things getting put of control my parents always fight and they started to be mad at us... chaeryeong can't take it anymore that's why she went to yuna so that she feel safe" the tears in chaeyeon's eyes is the most vulnerable

Even though yujin understand the feeling of what chaeyeon is feeling... she can't understand why is this happening to chaeyeon....

"Things started to get more heavier... mom was angry at dad because of what chaeryeong did.... and one day.. i was going home after our trip in the sky park..... i open the door and see no one but dad.... he was c-crying" maybe crying was a hard word for chaeyeon when describing her father

"I ask what happen many times but he was just kneeling to me saying his sorry...then... i just realize mom and chaemin are no where to find.... those past few days of telling all of you that i'm going home early its because i'm finding my sister...." chaeyeon muttered tears started to fall again

"Why are you crying?" Yujin asked and chaeyeon chuckled

"Because i miss her..."

"Who?"

"Mom....." yujin smiled.. she knew chaemin and chaeyeon are still connecting using phone..

"Chaeyeon unnie.... crying now will do nothing to bring your mom back.... you should try harder and get some help... so you won't be alone.. but wherever you go..." yujin pointed to chaeyeon's heart
