"Everyone get inside the dome!" Brooke shouted, guiding the villagers to a dome of rushing wind. "The wind will keep you safe from any attacks!"
"Thank you miss." A woman said, carrying two children in her arms.
Brooke gave her a warm smile, "I'm only doing my duty." She reached a hand towards the dome and the wind parted, allowing the woman and other villagers inside before closing up behind them.
"That looks to be the last of them. There's no more people hiding in the village, I looked in every nook and cranny." Aarona called out as she walked up to Brooke. Just by looking at the expression on her face it was obvious Aarona wanted in on the fighting. Chuckling slightly, Brooke nodded.
"Well then, shall we help the others?"
Aarona grinned, "Let's do this!" She shouted, turning around and running in the direction of a giant explosion. Brooke followed after her, though when they arrived at the battle scene one of the Holy Knights- Guila- was pointing her lance towards King, who was hovering in the air with his spear behind him. At the tip of the lance in the Guila's hand a fireball had appeared and just as Guilawas about to detonate it, it was sent flying towards Aarona, who was holding her hand out towards it.
"Look out!" King shouted as he watched, only to have a look of confusion on his face as nothing happened when it made contact with Aarona's hand.
"This is a pretty good explosion! But it's made way too sloppily. I bet I can do much better." Aarona said, patting the top of it with her hand, causing the ball to swell in size and burn brighter.
"W-What did you do?" Guila asked.
"I just gave it a little boost. Here, why don't you try it out?" Aarona said, snapping her fingers and sending the explosion straight towards Guila. With the sheer size and speed of it, the holy knight wasn't able to dodge and was hit head on, detonating a giant explosion that shook the ground. "See! That's a proper explosion- hm?" Aarona said, looking towards where the Holy Knight was and seeing she was passed out on the ground, next to the other Holy Knight that King had taken down himself. "There's no way she was that weak! That's barely considered a fight!"
"Calm down, Aarona. I'm sure the fight's not over just yet." Brooke said, if her senses were correct than Ban, King, and Diane's power levels were starting to fade, which was just a bit concerning, and by the looks of it King felt the same drop in power as well.
"What seems to be the trouble? You're looking a bit peaked, you three." Guila said, and Brooke looked over towards her to see that both her and the other Holy Knight had pushed themselves up into a standing position.
"What have you done to the Captain and Diane? And I guess Ban." King asked, looking back at the two. When he got no response he let out a short sigh, "Fine, I'll check on them myself. And just so we're clear, if you two get in my way again, I'll--"
Before any of them could make a move, Guila sent multiple explosions towards King, only to have them get pulled back by Aarona.
"Did you already forget that your explosions aren't going to work?" Aarona asked.
"These explosions are different." Guila said, a grin appearing on her face, "These self-detonate." As soon as she said that the explosion above Aarona detonated, leaving a large cloud of smoke to surround her. Guila smiled and a look of satisfaction appeared on her face. "That should keep her down for a while."
"Pft, you expect a puny explosion like that to keep me down? I told you before that your explosions are sloppily made. Just because you had made a lot more of them doesn't mean they'll actually hurt me." Aarona said, stepping out of the smoke with no trace of injury. "Holy Knights nowadays just don't listen like they used to." She looked up towards King, who had just fended off an attack from the other Holy Knight.
