Mental illness has a million faces and mine is one of them.  It's never easy telling someone about your mental health. It's never easy trying to explain the heavy feeling in your chest, the lack of motivation you have, the heavy head and whirlwind of sad thoughts constantly sitting in the back of your head😓

When I was diagnosed with depression I was very lucky to have people around me who did not stigmatise me, who saw me as me and not my diagnosis. However, when I stepped out of my comfort zone and into society, I was hit with the stigma of mental health illness which many people have to battle with from time to time🍂

The scariest thing I found about suffering from depression is the effect that it has on every aspect of my life; it’s not just what’s inside of my head. For me, suffering from depression became debilitating as I couldn't find happiness in the little things I used to enjoy doing. More often than not, depression would cause me to sit in my room and cry, usually for no reason at all.🍂

But remember there is no reason to be ashamed of your mental health. All of the hard moments in our lives come to an end, and we must endure them as once they are gone you will find the happiness waiting for you. We get depressed from the thoughts we think and the beliefs we can hold onto. This comes from external factors making us think a certain way, and we must change this to bring in the positivity that can come from within.
Value yourself, work on you and take on the challenges that come your way to push past the negative by tackling it rather than letting it block your path. And you will help others to see the strength that resides within them also. 🌱

There always come a point in life where we feel hopeless and worthless, that life have given us so much that we don’t deserve. Even if things are falling apart, evoke that God is our guardian in such things like this. He would be the answers of our prayers and help us to overcome this kind of situations. He created everything and has a power to diminished one’s difficulty.🔥🔥

My favourite quote is “you matter don’t let your story end”. Your life is not defined by your scars.  It is defined by how you overcame what caused your scars.  Remember with love we can continue our stories instead of ending it. ❤️🔥
