"Wake up Marinette!" Tikki told her holder, wanting to wake her up so she wouldn't be late for school.
Okay, maybe because she wanted a cookie breakfast, but she still loved her holder! Maybe not as much as cooki- Let's get back tot he story!
"I'm awake! I'm awake!" Marinette yelled as she finally awoke from her slumber. Most likely because of a nightmare of Adrien on the other side of automatic doors... (Come on! New York special reference people! Only the true fans of Mlb know this stuff.)
"Come on Marinette! Today is the day you promised Alya you'll tell Adrien your feelings!" Tikki reminded Marinette.
Marinette's eyes widened.
It was true, she did promise Alya and the girls. Let's just say they had a bet if they can find one sentence Chat Noir didn't pun in. Let's just say there wasn't...
Wait...
Wait a second...
WAIT...
WHAT...
IT'S TIME ALREADY!
Marinette zoomed to her closet, her mind racing. She put on her signature pigtails and flowered clothes, then ran downstairs.
She quickly said bye to her parents that were surprised on how early she was, and she grabbed a croissant and some cookies, then went to school.
Marinette didn't even bother to greet to Alya. Not even a hello, a hi, a hug. Marinette rushed to the the commends and hid behind the stairs where Adrien wouldn't see her.
"What are you doing Marinette?" Tikki said.
"I dont know Tikki, what if he doesn't like me back?" Marinette said.
"It's better to know than not even try!" Tikki told her holder.
"Your right Tikki! I could do this!" Marinette said not knowing where all her confidence was coming from.
Just as Marinette was about to go up to Adrien, she heard something she never wanted to hear, that broke her heart.
"I TOLD U ALREADY I DONT LIKE MARINETTE IN ANY WAY! I HAVE HAD IT ALREADY! LEAVE ME ALONE!" Adrien told Kim and Nino.
Everyone stopped.
Adrien stopped.
He turned around.
and saw a very,
heart broken Marinette,
with broken tears dripping down her face.
