Hello all! (Sorry for not updating. Been pretty busy. I wrote bit by bit when I had time. I've just been so busy and tired. Sorry.) I got some pretty good feedback and encouragement from some of you. I want to just throw a big THANKS out there aha!
As you know, I did leave off on a cliffhanger. Again, I do apologize for that.. I'm very sorry. (Jk. I regret nothing.) Anyway, Some of you thought Nialler was dead. I want to assure you that he is ALIVE. He will be ok. For now that is... Bwahaha.. Enough of my evilness. On to the story!

Nararator's POV:
Sirens could be heard off in the distance. An ambulance and a few police cars were soon parked next to the dark alley where the attempted murder took place, just a little over half an hour prior to their arrival. Someone had reported sounds of gun shots near the alley.
A man, who looked to be around his mid 30's, walked up to the entrance of the Alley. He stood at about 6'1 ft, green eyes, slicked back brunette hair with visible amounts of gray here and there, and a navy blue police uniform with a badge placed proudly on his left breast.
"So this is where the the woman reported that she heard gun shots from?" He asked in a gruff voice.
"Yes sir." his partner replied.
The brunette haired cop simply grunted and proceeded to take out his flashlight. After flicking it on, he slowly began to walk towards the back of the alley, his partner falling into step right behind him, gun held in hand, ready to protect himself and his partner if needed. 15 seconds later and the older of the 2 held his hand up as if to say 'stop moving'.
"I think I see something... Looks like a body." He said aloud as he shined his flashlight on a limp figure sprawled on the ground leaning against the wall. He walked the short distance over to the figure then knelled down to inspect it further.
"It's a boy.. He seems to have been shot in center of his chest.." he said as he continued to inspect the young man. His body was pale and lied still in a puddle of his own blood. His once white shirt now stained the color of red with a hole in the middle like a polo. He placed his long, warm fingers against the boy's neck, trying to feel for a pulse. His eyes widened just the slightest bit as he felt it.
A pulse.
'The kid's still alive... Hmph. He must have some luck.' He thought mentally and slightly smiled to himself.
"Kramer! Get the paramedics over here immediately! This kid's still got a pulse. It's weak so get a move on!" He yelled out to his partner.
"Yes sir, Sgt. Walsh!" and that was all he said before rushing off to do as he was told.
"Just keep on fighting kid... You'll make it."
In less than a minute, the medics were rushing into the alley with a gurney. They gently picked up the pale, cold body from hard ground and placed him on the, softer in comparison, mobile bed. After arriving back at the ambulance, the paramedics proceeded to place an endotracheal tube, also known as an ET tube, into his lungs to help with his breathing then proceeded to start an IV to give fluids. After that was all set up, they were off on a race against time to get to the nearest hospital.

"WE NEED A DOCTOR OVER HERE! WE HAVE A 17 YEAR OLD MALE, GUN SHOT WOUND TO THE CHEST, HE NEEDS ASSISTANCE IMMEDIATELY!" one of the two paramedics yelled out as they rushed into emergency section of the hospital, pushing the patient on the gurney as they did.
