What do you want to be-
XY or XX?
Make me a human, my gender will be your choice .
“Why so ?” it asked
‘Cause I want to be gentle and kind
Then you will be happy as a girl, “ it said
I am sporty and love football.
“Then maybe I should make you a boy”
I love cooking and caring for animals,
Pink and blue are my favourite colours,
I want to go to school
And be a loving parent.
“Then I don’t know what to do - you can choose”
You can make me anything as XX and XY are genders, not personalities.
It does not matter. I want to be able to cry, fight cook, study and play openly . I want to wear blue and pink, be an athlete and a makeup artist.
As long as I am human, I will have all those capabilities.
Its your choice.
“I see, you are very wise. I will close my eyes and make my choice . Will that do?”
Yes. That will do. My gender is my least priority when it comes to fulfilling my ambitions . I want to be myself and not fake anything about my personality. Thank you.
And so I am born,
So l live,
And so I succeed.
