"OH SHOOT." I put my hands on head.
I had forgotten to tell him what time to meet up.
"UGH, HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID?" I paced around my room, thinking of solutions.
I'll get there before 11:00 and hopefully he'll be there before 1:00. For the 2 hours, I can just shop by myself. That would be fine, right? No.. but what if he's not there? It wouldn't hurt to try..
My face beamed as soon I figured out how to fix my problem. I walked over to the mirror. I glared at my reflection.
I don't like to call myself insecure but maybe I am. At times I can think I'm a whole model but then I look at other girls around me and immediately become timid.

I took a quick look at my outfit before leaving the house. I wore platformed boots following with black thigh highs, a plain black cropped camisole, a dark purple tennis skirt that sat just a little bit higher than my thighs. For the finishing touch a black zip up hoodie.
"Mom," I yelled, going down the staircase, "I'm meeting a friend at the mall!"
"What time will you be back?" She moved her glaze away from the dishes and projected it onto me. "You're going out in..that?" Her face scrunched up as I unlocked the front door. Giving her a forced smile, "Yes, I am, thank you very much." Locking the door, I replied sarcastically.
