I checked my phone continuously as the time seemed like it was frozen. I wasn't sure if I should wait for him outside or go browse through some shops.

What if I leave and he comes right when I take off? I can't risk it.

I decided to stay at the bench infront of the mall waiting for my friend. I began opening my social media apps to kill time.

It wasn't often I was on these apps. Most things posted on there  made me feel unhappy, seeing everyone I knew hanging out and having fun. I wanted that too. I really did.

I try to keep up with everyone else, posting every time I did something that seemed exciting, but most of the time I was alone on those photos.

I want people to think I have an amazing, outgoing, social life and I want people to look up to me once I become a hero. That's why I attended U.A. I was going to become a hero and make lots of friends.

"L/N?"

I looked up from my phone, I saw gray and blue eyes squinting with a hint of concern.

Was I just sitting there staring at my phone? Or was mumbling my thoughts out loud?

"Hey, Todoroki!" I sat up and greeted him.

We walked into the mall in sync.   

"So, are you hungry? You can pick whatever restaurant," I flashed him a quick smile, "Don't worry, I'll pay for everything!"

His eyes adverted to the ground. "You don't have to, L/N.."

"Oh, no no, trust me,  I want too. I feel really bad."

What type of person would I by doing nothing after that whole situation. A hero is the last thing that would come to mind.

"Are you sure?" His hands slipped into his pockets. "Positive!" I put my thumbs up to show extra approval.

After a few minutes of  Todoroki deciding where to eat, we arrived at our destination.

Stepping foot into the decked out palace like diner. I gasped in amazement. "Woah! This restaurant is way fancier than I imagined."

From the top and bottom marble walls, the white pillars that seemed to separate every party, dimmed but cozy tropical sunset lighting, everything about it... I loved it all. Although it looked pricey.

"It seems out of character but, you picked this place because it's expensive huh?" I looked over to my male accompany.

"No, I've just been wanting to eat here."

I faintly smiled and walked over to the counter.  He admired the architecture as I spoke to the staff.
"A party for two please."
"Okay, of course! Though, the wait will be about 45 minutes."

I looked behind me locking eyes with Todoroki. He nodded in approval.

"That's totally fine!" I exclaimed.
The waitress handed me a buzzer that was supposed to ring when there was an open booth.

"It's been so long" I groaned as I slide down the wall, unable to stand due to the awful stand by. "Don't worry, it shouldn't be long before that thing starts buzzing."

I sprinted back onto my feet when the buzzer suddenly started to vibrate. "Oh! Looks like you were right." I chuckled.

As soon as I stepped back into restaurant, I was met by blond locks.
