Kathir was manning the shop outside..

And it was evening around 6 pm..Ashok came home as promised

Kathir : vaanga

And just like that they became friends all over again...Kathir did not remember the basis on which this friendship was formed..but he liked this guy...and he was someone close to Mullai as well...Mullai needed all the help and affection she could get...

Ashok sat in the shop along with Kathir..Kathir was surprised to see him handle customers with ease..he even knew the prices by heart for most of the items..

Ashok glared at him..but understood that this was the Kathir who didn't remember...the Kathir he met last diwali..who was cordial, an acquaintance and hence the respect

He hid the fact that it was actually on Kathir's request that he shifted base to Kunnakudi...he had his reasons...serious reasons that appealed to Ashok's sensibilities...and after what Kathir did for him..his family..he would do anything for Kathir..this was miniscule...

They sat at the shop for some more time till Kanna came to take over..

They had their tea...

Kathir : Main Market pakkam konjam poganum Ashok...

Ashok : polaame..enna vishayam

They reached the shop..

Kathir placed a call to his anni to check if anyone else would be interested in Parottas...

Kanna had already confirmed his interest...Dhanam confirmed for the others and assured him that she wouldn't tell Mullai...

They placed the order and took the parcel...

Ashok and Kathir ate while they waited for their food to get ready..

Mullai started serving herself...

Kathir : ethukkum kammiyaave saappidu..please

Ashok watching this from the sofa smiled..
