second task: poisened veins

Hope's POV:

{A day after the Yule ball, the night before the next task}

"I don't think that is a good idea, no offense Dumbledore."

"Hmmm...Ms Mikaelson, I see why you would say it is a bad idea but shouldn't the students at least know what is going on?"

Snape snaps back at my previous statement.

"No offense Snape, but headmaster Dumbledore, as it is everyone is so focused on the Tournament, if I have to be honest, I see no need to inform them about the Malivore Monsters. I will talk to Hermione and Harry about what they saw. But no one else should know. For their safety"

Before Snape can even Snap back, Dumbledore speaks up.

"Ms Mikaelson, I believe I understand that you are correct. We mustn't tell any students as they are all focused on their studies and the tournament. Now I dismiss you both."

I get up and walk out of his office.

As I am walking throughout the corridor hallways I start to hear whispers, again. My head starts to ache but I try to ignore it. As I'm walking holding my head, I accidentally bump into someone and of course me being the klutz I am, I fell.

"Ah I am so sorry"

I look up to see Harry.

"It's fine"

He gets up and offers me his hand and pulls me up.

"So you ready for the next task tomorrow morning?"

"Definitely not. I don't really get what was you know, stolen from us"

I say. He nods in agreement.

"Have you seen Hermione or Ron today Hope?"

Harry asks and I nod my head saying no.

"No I haven't but now that you mention it, I haven't seen Draco all day either"

I state.

"Yeah me either. I haven't heard or seen Malfoy all day. That's pretty strange"

"Yeah, well I am gonna get going back to the girls dormitory, I'll see you In the morning Harry"

I start walking away as he bids me goodnight. When I reach my bed I try to fall asleep, but for some reason, I just simply can't. The whispers are getting louder and my head continues to ache. I just shrug it off and fall asleep.

{The next morning}

(Before entering the great hall)

"Pssst Hope"

I turn to see Lizzie.

"hey lizzie"

She comes up to me and she has a worried look on her face.

"Lizzie are you alright?"

"No, Josie is missing"

I froze. What the hell was going on here?

"And I asked her boyfriend Cedric to see if he knew where she was but he said he didn't see her in the Hufflepuff common room either"

"Wait boyfriend?"

I ask lizzie

"Yeah they are an item now, but that isn't the point, My sister is missing"

"Relax she's probably busy or something come on lets get something to eat"
