ascendent

"I am going to head downstairs to the main hall for lunch with the wolves come down if you want to join"

I say to Draco as I walk out of the dorm room, closing the door behind me. I walk downstairs, entering the main hall where everyone was currently chatting among themselves.

I go towards the table where Lizzie was which was where all the wolves were at. I plop down on a empty chair next to Lizzie.

we all start laughing and engaging in conversation about how the football game against the timberwolves went.

no shocker , we won.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn to see Draco standing there.

"hey you hungry?"

"uh yeah"

I pat the seat next to me. He hesitates but sits down.

"you okay there? you were tossing and turning all night"

I ask rising an eyebrow at him.

"I'm fine just had a hard time getting comfortable"

"really? the beds here are so comfortable though!"

he chuckles and lets out a small smile.

"how's your arm?"

he stops smiling and looks down at it.

"fine, no pain so far"

"good"

-later that night-

all the witches were gathered outside in the courtyard. Emma was explaining to the Saltzman twins a little more about what they had to do. next to me on my right side was Draco. Even though he wasn't a coven witch he still had magic from his wand though I doubt it would be as strong as everyone here.

"working together..."

Emma starts to speak as I stand next to Draco holding his hand. Every witch is in a circle holding hands to create more power. The Saltzman twins standing with the circle of witches as well as Emma.

"helps us create a strong force that can cast spells that none of us can do alone"

I leave Draco and go to the front putting the ascendant pieces on the stone that was placed in front of us. I put the vile of Harry's Blood down as well.

I figured out a while ago that the blood of a Bennett witch would not be able to help create this type of prison world that we needed, which is why I took Harry's , figured since he's the chosen one and all of such I'm thinking it will work.

I go walk back towards Draco and grab his hand leading us to the circle of witches and I stand next to Josie and I take her hand on my left and on my right I take Draco's hand and he takes another witches hand as well link hands.

"Now witches, focus on assembling these pieces into a new ascendent that will lead to a new prison world."

we all close our eyes and start focusing our magic to the ascendent. I wanted the new prison world to look like Hogwarts as per Snape's request.

a gold fogging glow surrounds the circle from the outside of us all. we open our eyes and see the pieces being built together and Harrys blood being opened and combined with the pieces. Once the ascendent is finally completed it drops down to the ground. we all let go of each other and I run towards the ascendent picking it up and walking back towards Draco.

"well done witches, well done"

we all start walking and congratulating each other. I thank Emma and the twins and I grab Draco's hand leading him back to the school.

"is it over?"

Draco says as we stop.

"the ascendent needs to be given to Harry. ill explain everything to him so in case we can't kill Voldemort we have a plan B and we can trap him or any other Deatheaters. "

he lightly smiles.

"he wants me to kill Dumbledore and fix the vanishing cabinet to let the death eaters in Hogwarts, there's a war coming.."

I cut him off by grabbing his hand with my free one.

"and we will fight. if you can't kill Dumbledore then I will"

he looks at me shocked.

"you can't do that for me.."

"Draco I have killed people before."

he looks at me in surprise.

"triggering the werewolf curse you have to take a humans life and I accidentals killed someone while killing vampires who were supporters of a woman who helped kill my mom. I can live with the guilt unlike you"

"I still can't let you be the one to do it"

"we will see who does it when that time comes"

we walk back to the dorm and start talking about how Josie will be a deatheater.

"you will introduce her as a very powerful witch and make sure he knows that she can do magic without a wand. just like that I already know he will want her on his side"

"okay but he is going to look through her mind he will know if she was lying"

"perfect she will just use a basic mind blocking spell, she knows it she'll be fine"

"okay because we can't risk him finding out"

"I know"

we just sit in our beds in silence.

"how do we do this...?"

"do what?"

I say facing him as he is facing me.

"this whole I like you thing, we kissed last night and dated before..what are we..?"

"um.. I don't know either...im not good with feelings either"

"why don't we take this slow? like..."

"friends with benefits?"

"yeah like that.."

"erm that's fine with me"

he smiles.

"get ready for bed I am gonna be back"

I say while plopping off my bed and heading towards the door.

"where are you off to?"

I turn around and smile at him.

"its a full moon tonight, I need a release"

I open the door and before I can actually step out of the shared dorm room I turn back around.

"stay clear of the woods Malfoy"

"got it, Mikaelson"

he says giving me that famous smirk and I roll my eyes and step out of the dorm room shutting the door behind me.

as I am walking through the woods I am lost in my thoughts

'what's going to happen going forward now?'

'who was in danger?'

'who needed protection for what was going to come in the future?'
