The air grew dark and heavy as I went back to the place I once used to call a home, my friends, my family, my crush. I walked through the portal feeling my body go limp and my head go foggy as I looked up to see a broken shack "Eda.." I whispered before yelling and running up the stairs, bursting into the gloomy room "EDA!!" I screamed, throwing the door open. there was nothing but feathers and glass shatters. I panicked, knowing Eda must've turned while I was away and hurt someone, but she would never hurt someone, no that sounds wrong she definitely would. I searched the room, the floor creaking, I had a horrible feeling I could fall any second. I heard a nearby person groaning, I assume they were in pain so I looked out the window, hoping to find them "hello?!" I yelled from the window. I saw a girl walk out from behind a tree, her skin was pale and her face drained of any emotion I gasped and flew backwards, my eyes widened as I covered my mouth and cried. I sat there for a few hours, hoping the monster would eventually leave me alone but I looked down to see it gathered more, I panicked again and reached for some paper, I grabbed a pen and drew a messy glyph before pointing it at the slowly moving beasts and hit the sheet, seeing the flames hit them as they groaned in pain. I felt horrible and ashamed for what I did, I can't believe I hurt someone, not just one person but multiple.. I examined the woods before I walked down the stairs and out the door, grabbing a book and pen on my way down. I saw the monsters grab onto the trees, causing a fast spread flame among the small forest as I stared, tears fell down my face. My home, this is what it's come to.

Luz walked through the forest cautiously as she eventually made it to the market, it was flooded with more monsters. She let out a yell before running. "luz?" a familiar voice whispered as it poked its head up and spotted the girl "Luz!" it screamed. The girl turned to see her friend in the crowd of undead and continued running, her face soaked as she sobbed. she eventually found somewhere to hide and stayed there for a while till the crowd lowered to just 3 or 4 of the undead.

Gus had walked into the cave the others decided on staying in and gathered them.
"I saw Luz, She was down by the night market, I saw her being chased by a group of beasts" Willow walked up to him with an upset frown and stared "are you sure?" she doubted him, she thought he was seeing things.
"Willow trust me, I knew she would come back" Gus walked toward the door
"She went near the school, I think we can get her and come back unnoticed" Gus walked towards the wood door before opening it and hearing it make a small creek "Join me or don't, it's up to you" He said before walking out and the door shutting behind him Willow huffed before going to the door and following Gus. The two had made it back to the night market and hit behind a wall. Gus examined the beasts, calculating a plan in his head on how to distract them. Gus pointed at a nearby tree and formed a circle using his index finger, a blue glow followed with it. the blue glow flew towards the tree as it made a boom. The creatures had been distracted, helping Gus and Willow walk past without an issue. Willow turn the corner behind Gus, looking down she had seen a glimpse of what seemed to be brown hair. She shook her head and looked at Gus "did you find something?" He asked, walking towards her slowly "I'm not sure" she responded Luz poked her head up and looked at them "Guys!" Luz whispered, poking Willows shoe Willow pointed her finger at Luz and stared at her "Who are you and what do you-"
"Luz!" Gus interrupted as he opened the hole below the two, helping Luz out of the dark and gross area. Luz hugged the two, her face lit up as she smiled at them "I haven't seen you two in so long" she whispered before hugging them again.
"Now's not the time for this.." Willow interrupted "we need to go back to the cave, it's too dangerous out here" she pushed Luz off of her and walked back to the corner, waiting for Gus to follow
