CHAPTER2: Meeting New People

The other owner of this school is my aunt Liza and my uncle Enrique. Our families are really close since, Mommy and Auntie are practically sisters, while Daddy and Uncle are like "bros for life" .

Truth is, their parents are the real ones who, really put up this school.
They even made a bet about what the school's name should be. Auntie's parents won, and they named it KN Forever University. Since Mumsie and Papsie's names are Kathyrn and Daniel and they had hardships and everything but eventually they still ended up together. So logically their names put together is KathNiel so it's KN. They put "Forever" because Mumsie and Papsie made a promise to each other that they would be with each other forever.

Blah. Blah. Blah.

Oh please! As if that really happened. There has got to be a more logical explanation as to why the name is KN Forever University.

Well... we're at the school already.
"Have a nice day Crystal!" Joe said as I got out of the car.
"You too Joe!" I replied with a smile.

I walked up the steps of the school, greeting the guard on the way. I was walking to my locker when instantly...

My 2 BFFs in the whole wide universe, Kylie and Ella, engulfed me in a really, really tight bear hug. As in the type were you literally can't breathe at all.
"Hey guys... I miss you guys too... But if you want me to stay alive you might wanna loosen the hug." I managed to choke out.

They finally let go as I inhale a huge amount of air.

We walk to my locker, so I could get my books and put the other stuff I don't really need as well. We were walking to the back part of our school where we have a secret hangout place.

When we arrive there, we see that there is a girl sitting near there. She seemed lonely so I walked over where she was and decided to talk to her.
"Hi! Crystal is the name. What's yours?" I greeted her.
"Uhm... I'm Ste-Stella." She said stuttering.
"This is Kylie and Ella" I said pointing to my friends beside me.
"Hey!" They said to Stella in unison.
"It's ok don't be shy." I said to her with a smile on my face. I guess she started to warm up to us because I saw a small smile grow on her face.
"You wanna hangout with us?"
"Ok... sure"
We all went to our hangout place and told each other stories. It turns out that Stella has 2 brothers one is in senior high school and the other one is a sophomore. They're both studying here too. They also came from the Philippines because their parents had to fix something with their branch of business there.
Later on the bell rang, telling us that it's time to go to class. On the way to our classroom Kylie asked if she could look at Stella's schedule and she had her first class with us.

We had Talents first and our teacher was Mrs. Bernardino. We finally entered our classroom. We sat in the middle, not to far front and not to far back.
We waited for a few minutes before Ms. Bernardino entered the classroom.
"Good morning class. Today we will just have introductions and a simple placement test, to know where we would mostly focus on. I know most of you may have already known each other from before, but we have some new students so please introduce yourselves and please show your talent." Mrs. Bernardino said.
"Let's start with you." She said pointing to Elena seated in the front in the right corner.
"I'm Elena Cortez and I do ballet." Then she started dancing ballet in front of the class. She was very good, but honestly - I've seen better. The next person was a new student, he wore glasses, a long sleeved red shirt with navy blue stripes, jeans and classic black chucks.
"My name is James Bernardo and I can play the guitar and sing."
He asked permission from Miss and she allowed him. He grabbed the guitar and started singing.
I don't wanna be famous,

Everything I eat is tasteless,

His voice is like an angel's. It's like it's too good to be true.

It was the next persons turn to introduce.

Blah. Blah. Blah.

Introduction. Introduction. Introduction.

Talent. Talent. Talent.

Then it was my turn.
"Hi everyone! My name is Crystal Diandra Montenegro."
Then I sat back down. You're probably wondering why I didn't show any talent. Simple. I have stage fright, everyone knows that. Well... maybe except for the new students. Stella looked t me with a questioning look, probably wondering why I didn't show my talent.
It was finally Stella's turn to introduce herself.
" Uhm... Hey everyone! My name is Alice Stella Bernardo and I can draw."
Then she drew a beautiful drawing of the garden part of our school. It looked absolutely amazing.
Blah. Blah. Blah.
More people introduced themselves whatever.
Later on the bell rang. Signaling it was the end of the period.
Ms. Bernardino gave a few reminders for tomorrow and dismissed the class.
The second we stepped out of the classroom there was an announcement coming from the speakers.
"To all KNFU students please proceed to the auditorium right now for an important announcement. Thank you." After that they repeated the announcement one more time.
Eventually everyone was then heading to the auditorium. I wonder why the important announcement is that I don't know about. The principal, who is my cousin, usually tells me ahead of time.
