As I cry I hear a voice in my ear saying "I don't mean it that way" & "I'm so sorry Cassi!" Suddenly I realize who's voice it is. It's David's. After a moment my crying dies down and I look up at David with swollen eyes "why?" Was the only word that slipped from my mouth " I didn't mean it that way honest!" He said hugging me closer to him "forgive me?" He whispers softly in my ear and I can feel my cheeks heat up as I hug hi, back "you're forgiven". Suddenly there is a sound that grabs our addition, we turn to see cami, one of our friends jumping up and down "I knew it! You two do have feeling for each other!" She said obviously happy by the sight of us hugging. The next thing I know David's girlfriend's face pops up beside Cami and she looked pissed as she stormed passed us shouting a 'we are so thought!' Before disappearing around the corner."so friends?" David asked looking down at me "friends" I said hugging him once more before pulling away "have a good weekend!" I shout as I run thought the rain that started to fall a hour ago to get to my car where my mom waited dry and warm while I on the other hand am cold and dripping wet from the rain "what a way to start the weekend" I mumbled as we drove away from the school for the weekend.
