I saw my father and grandparents and they told me things. Carla was a lot worse than anyone ever knew. She apparently got pregnant with me to trap my father who was from a wealthy family. He was the only heir to the Lambert fortune. She was involved in all three deaths, but no one could prove it. I wake up choking and panicked. Everything moves very quickly and they get the tube out of my throat and give me a sip of water. I see my dad and stepmom looking down at me. Christian is asleep in the chair across the room. The last thing I recall was Morton bathing me after drugging me. I heard gun shots as well. How everything went down is all mixed up in my mind. They have three people in custody and will tell me more when I am better. Apparently my heart stopped three times. Morton overdosed me.

I watch Ana struggle to breathe and sip water. Carrick is trying to find something out for me. I have no clue why these three worked together to kidnap Ana. But Carla is and always has been a bit off the reservation. Anas real father and grandparents died and no one knew how. Or they couldn't tie there deaths to anyone. I suspect Carla had a hand in it.

I came by to see if Ana is awake. I apologize for my sons and wife and for whatever part they played in her being kidnapped. She just whispers n pain it's not my fault they did what they did.

I walk over and hold Anas hand and kiss her forehead. I am happy she is safe, but we have to get better security for her. Dad said he ran some financial checks on Carla, Morton and Jose Jr. things don't add up.

The loss of the last Lambert heir would leave everything to Frank Lambert's widow which is Carla Lambert. Someone was doing her dirty work. The heir would be the only one to inherit unless she died and then the widow would get the whole estate running in billions with everything included. The murder attempt was to try to get me out of the way. Because the heir lived on a military base no one could get to her. Once she arrived in the United States she was living in a regular home. The photos of her dancing with Seattle's most eligible billionaire gave a red light to the killers plans again. After her mother and stepfather were stopped by a neighbor, her adopted father won permanent custody of miss Steele. At 22 going on 23 she will inherit everything minus my huge attorney fees. Christian has hired four bodyguards for Ana, after what has happened I can understand. Taylor and Sam both knew people who were very trustworthy and could do the job.Rogers, Abernathy, Fuller and Smith. Fuller and Smith are both female.

I want her to stay at my apartment until we know who else is behind this kidnapping. She is safer there than any place else. A knock on the door comes and we are told an attorney would like to talk to Ana.

I introduce myself and my bodyguards to everyone in the hospital room. I explain fully why I am here and why the need for bodyguards. I also told them that finding her was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Until her story hit the world news and I jumped on her company jet and waded my way through all her security. I tell them that she was the only heir to the Lambert family Estate and it was held in trust for her and she should have gotten it at 21, but her mother made sure we had no way of finding her. If Ana had died prior to the trust becoming legally hers she would have a claim as Frank Lambert's widow.

I want my dad here if that's okay with Ana, so he can make sure everything is legal. She has had a rough time of it.

So that's why Carla and Morton tried to kill her.

I can't say anything about that, but we have our suspicions about Carla and her possible involvement in three murders that we know of. Once she inherits I suggest she draw u a will leaving nothing to Carla. And make sure she has a lot of beneficiaries named. And show the b...h the will. It will make her think before she tries this again. Also I can help make it iron clad for her. She can also distribute her assets as she pleases.

I can't believe my mother would be behind all of this, but the more you tell us the more it explains other things that happened to me.
