Chapter 15: Starry Nights ✧*。
Allison
I blinked both my eye repeatedly after what seems like an eternity being bombarded with flashing cameras coming from every direction. It sure did leave a strain.
"So what do you think he was doing there?" Amber asked approaching beside me. I sighed shrugging, "How am I supposed to know, he didn't exactly went out of the car to come and talk to me"
"You mean, he just stayed in the car, watching you and Hilmi?" Amber frowned in confusion. I nodded, "Have you watched 'You' on Netflix?" she asked all of a sudden.
"Yeah, why do you ask?"
"Because what he's doing right there... Is some 'You' level shit" She shuddered. I chuckled lowly shaking my head at her comment.
"Whatever Amber, if he has something to say he can come to me and say it, no way in hell am I going to go up to him after what he's done" I shook my head clearing the imaginary dark cloud that has emerged once again.
Amber nodded impressively, "That's my girl" before brushing off a lint from her red satin maxi dress.
As Amber and I waited for the boys to wrap up their team photo session, we talked with their teammates' dates to pass the time. While chatting away into Neverland, I almost didn't feel a hand wrap onto the side of my waist making me giggle as it tickled me.
I've been always the ticklish one out of the trio.
Hilmi chuckled, "You okay?" he smiled down at me sweetly. I nodded, "Yeah I'm alright and you? The camera seems to really like you" I chuckled, leading us away from the girls.
"Hope they got my good side though" Hilmi joked, running his pointer finger along his athletic jawline. "Trust me I think they've got plenty" I scoffed, rolling my eyes at him.
Hilmi chuckled and took his phone out, "Okay turn around and strike a pose for me"
"What why?" I chuckled. "So I can take a picture of you, I wanna show my friends how pretty my date is tonight" he grinned, already putting his phone up to take a picture.
"Hilmi I told you, you know I don't like to be in the centre spotlight" I sighed trying to push his phone out of the way. Hilmi gave me a confused look, chuckling he said "No you didn't"
Then it hit me, he wasn't the one I told that to... it was patricio.
I hate to admit but I'm not going to lie, this week felt different— difficult almost, not being able to approach pat to ask him what did I do wrong was killing me slowly inside out.
"Fine to make you feel better, let's take a picture together" Hilmi walked over to stand beside me to take a quick selfie together. I sighed happily in relief after, watching him post it on his IG story.
