Oh great.
It fucking raining!I jog over to my soaked bike and slide off with my hands all the water from the seat. Which then splashes at my feet. I drop the bag of garlic in the basket at the front of my bike and hop on. I furiously peddle through the puddles of water and the sky has clouded. The rain went from a little drizzle to full on pouring, and the sky looked dark enough to start thundering soon. I felt ridiculous not to have checked the weather or have at least worn a jacket before going out.
I drop my bike at the front of my drive way and frantically spam ring the doorbell realizing that I haven't brung my keys either. What. the. heck. The door finally flings open and the figure stares at me astonished, water soaked throughout my hair and all of my clothes. The thunder then zaps bright across the the sky, illuminating behind me, which I know is clearly showing my pissed face. The sky goes dark again, following with a loud BOOM and CrAcKLe. From his perspective I can tell it looks like something from a horror movie due to his expression.
"What happened?" Jackson gaped.
"Oh, you know, just rain and garlic." I shrug before I push Jack to the side, and make my way through the doorway to the kitchen.
The warmth of the house kicks me into realizing how freezing I actually am. I plop my garlic on the side counter. My socks are all wet and soggy which left trails of water through the kitchen. Jackson comes through the doorframe and I walk up to him, shoving a pasta box into his chest.
"I'm going to shower real quick. Boil the pasta for me?" I tilt my head slightly and smile sweetly. He slowly nods unsure.
He sucks at cooking but god I hope he at least knows how to boil some noodles.
I walk up the stairs carefully, trying hard not to slip on the way. I walk into our bathroom with a handful of clothes that I put on the sink, as I turn on the water for the shower. I let the water temperature rise until I see steam clouds. Finally I get in and let the hotness engulf me, giving me shivers of delight. I let the water run overhead, not wanting my body to get chilly as I reach for the shampoo.
Finally, once I take a step out of the shower I wrap the towel around my body. I tie the towel so that it is covering above my chest but under my arms, draping my body.I run the comb over my smooth and silky brown hair as the door immediately bursts opens.
"Sky, when do I know when the pasta noodles are cooked?"
He then takes in the sight of my body. The chilly air from outside is mixing in with the steam from inside the bathroom. I face up at him in shock.
I'm open my mouth to yell at him when I notice that his face tenses up. His pupils shrink. Why is he doing that? Then his iris glows an orange, kind of freaking me out. I grab my clothes and clutch it defensively up to my chest, fearing what he might do.
After a few seconds of silence his face softens up again but his eyes still glow. He takes a step toward me and stares down at my unconsciously shaking hands. I realize and try to stop immediately. Jack snatches the clothes in my hands and walks out of the bathroom.
"What are you doing?!"
He comes back 30 seconds later and a grey cloth flies across, wrapping over my unsuspecting head. I pull down the soft material and hold it out in front of me. It's a giant t-shirt.
"Put it on."
"What? why?!"
"It's mine, wear it." He commands
He's saying that like the fact that the shirt is his justifies everything.
"No." What's up with him? "What if I don't want to?"
