Battle with Eternatus Part 1

"One more thing before we start." Wily said, before snapping his fingers.

Suddenly Robyn Hills appeared.

"Where am I!?"

One Explanation Later

Robyn was now sitting next to Roman and Neo and more close to the MHA cast as she didn't trust Ironwood.

And with that done, the show began.

The scene opened up to show Ruby Rose standing in front of a smiling James Ironwood. However instead of her usual outfit, Ruby was instead wearing a simple black shirt and red hoodie. Ironwoods appearance was also not his usual one, instead he was wearing a Grey Suit in place of his white one, and had a small beard on his chin.

"Huh, nice beard Jimmy." Qrow said. "Indeed." Ozpin replied, "Why, it's almost as good as mine!" Port said with chortle, the majority though it was a nice beard. Ironwood himself began to wonder if he should grow a beard.

Ruby and her friends were talking about her new clothes, and they like what they see.

Ironwood clapped his hands calmly. "Most impressive Ms. Rose." For whatever had happened, it seemed as if James was taking it with stride. "I wouldn't expect anything less from a challenger endorsed by the strongest Champion ever to grace our beloved region!"

Everybody looked at Wily, who gave a quick explanation of the Pokémon world. Which everybody understood.

Ironwood then looked off wistfully into the wreckage of the room they were in. "I truly wish I could have seen the Championship Match between the two of you." He then turned to look at Ruby, with an apologetic look on his face.

Ruby's family were proud of their little rose for achieving so much.

"And I'm terribly sorry for ruining the League Challenge and everything. It's to bad, but it just can't be helped." Ruby, having enough of the Chairmans schemes, finally asked the question that has been on her mind.

The audience was confused on what he means. Except Ozpin's group. 'typical James.'

"Why are you doing this Chairman Ironwood?" Ironwood only gave Ruby a calm, yet sad, smile in return. "I merely wish to solve the energy crisis as soon as possible, so we had to awaken Eternatus immediately. But unfortunately, we couldn't control it."

Izuku asked Wily something. "What is Eternatus?" He asked For some reason, the younger ones get a chill down they're spine. So did the older ones too.

Wily merely said nothing, until, "You'll have to wait."

His sad smile then gave way to a frown. "The Champion even had to abandon her match to come aid me, all so she could fix my own mistakes. Just like a Knight in Shining Armor, although I don't think I'd make a good princess."

"Hehe, I think some of us would disagree." Qrow said with a cheeky smile as some members of the auidence, even a few of the Ace-Ops laugh or tried not to. Ironwood, merely covered his face in embarrassment.

He began to walk closer to Ruby. "I know I tend to ramble on, it's a habit I've gained from all those speeches I've made in my career. But I think I can stop talking now. The Champion, no... Winter, should have defeated Eternatus by now. If you are curious, then take the lift up."

Both the Schnee sisters were surprised, but Winter smiled and took pride in being a champion. "You do know that you shouldn't since it's not really you." Wily said.

Winter just glared at him for ruining that. He shrugged at the glared.

He then took notice of the other girl in the room. "And I trust you'll be going to Weiss. I truly Hope your loss against me didn't do anything too discourage you." Unlike her Remnant counterpart, this Weiss wore a White tank top, along with a furry jacket. Supported by a pair of blue trousers. This Weiss also did not bare the others scar, and simply let her hair down.

RWBY and Winter are presently surprised that Weiss's counterpart doesn't have the scar. "Well, now your dressing like a normal person!" Yang jokes, getting a weak shut up from Weiss who is still surprised.

Weiss didn't respond, she only glared at the Chairman. If he had a problem with that, he didn't mention it. "Go now, both of you. Go and see how our beloved Champion is doing."

"What on Earth did I unleash exactly?" Questioned James

"It's probably nothing too bad Sir" Clover reassured him "I would very much disagree!" Interjected one Robyn Hill

Which got her a small glare from Clover and the other members of the Atlesian Military, except Ironwood. However they decided too pause the argument at the "Ssh" from Wily

Weiss continued to glare at him. "Discouraged? You just don't get it Ironwood, nothing will stop me and my Pokémon from reaching the top!" Her glare seemed to lighten up a little. "It was thanks to those Gym challenges of yours that me and my team learned how to be strong. But I won't ever forgive you if your actions get my sister hurt."

Winter was beaming with Pride at her sister, while Team RWBY and JNPR were happy knowing that was how Weiss really was underneath her cold exterior, everyone else was touched by the care Alt-Weiss had for her Sister.

Grabbing Weiss by the shoulder, Ruby got her besties attention. "Lets go Weiss, your sister might need our help." Taking her best friend and rivals words into consideration, both she and Ruby ran off to assist Winter. Leaving Ironwood alone, to contemplate how his reckless idea may have nearly destroyed his region.

They're still wondering we he's referring too.

The next scene showed Ruby and Weiss riding in an elevator as the Muppets music played. They both glanced awkwardly at one another in silence.

Laughter occurred at the breaking away of such a tense situation, the previous worried Mood almost forgotten.

Once the elevator stopped, Weiss ran out immediately, quickly followed by Ruby. Both girls ran too the top of the building, only to stop in horror at the sight that greeted them.

They're all wondering what could cause such a reaction, only too stare in similar Horror at what they saw.

Both girls saw that Winter was thankfully alright, along with her ever faithful Charizard, although both were exhausted. But it was the sight of Eternatus that greatly shocked the girls.

The audience was amazed by the Charizard, but they're still wondering what Eternatus looks like.

The entire thing looked like a Giant skeleton, with the head of a Triceratops, with two lines of black prism like bones gliding around like the end of a scarf on either side. The core of the magnificent beast was glowing an evil red along with the rest of it's body, with several pincer like arms and legs sticking out of it. Despite it's exhaustion, the beast roared in defile.

They were all in Shock, Awe, Horror or some mixture of the three. "Good lord...." Oobleck whispered in shock.

Taking notice of her sister and her friend, Winter gave both Weiss and Ruby an assured smile. "You both came to help me, even in spite of the danger?" Winter had a few cuts around her boy, but was otherwise fine. "Weiss, Ruby, the two of you have grown tremendously. But there is no need for you too worry anymore."

Weiss lets a sign of relief that her sisters ok, everyone else with siblings can't help but smile at that. Winter can feel her heart melting.

Taking notice of her sister and her friend, Winter gave both Weiss and Ruby an assured smile. "You both came to help me, even in spite of the danger?" The champion then glared at the Beast in front of her." Although it kept me from Dynamaxing, Eternatus was still unprepared to face a Champions Team. Even if it managed to take out 5 of my pokemon, Charizard and I still managed to defeat it."

The adults and students are all amazed that Winter took it down, though they fear how powerful it is if they need 5 Pokémon to beat it.

She then took out a small ball form her pocket, the ball was split into two half's at the center. The lower half was a snow white, while the upper half was black with yellow highlights in a H pattern. "If I can catch it now, then that energy problem James worries so much about will be solved, and everything can go back to normal. So Watch This, it's Going to be a Real Champion Catch!"

Everyone watches with bated breath, Deku mutters "Plus Ultra" to himself. Mei and Pietro both want too study the Ultraball though. Which Wily said later.

Winter then threw the Ultra ball at Eternatus, which soon sucked it within itself as the ball fell to the ground, where it lay there motionlessly.

Everyone was cheering or applauding Alt Winter, thinking that was all there is too it.

Ruby and Weiss went to go give they're idol/sister a much needed congratulations for her actions, but Winter held out her hand for them to stay back.

The happy mood is gone, they're all worried now.

The Ultra ball began to shake uncontrollably. Winter, realizing what was about to happen, signaled for her loyal companion to protect Ruby and Weiss. Too which it did so without hesitation.

Some of the Veterans began realize what's going too happen. Panic soon starts too erupt.

"GET OUT OF THERE!" Mic yelled, accidently using his quirk causing people to cover their ears.

Unfortunately, Winter's fear were not without reason, as in a explosion of fire and wind, Eternatus broke free.

Everyone's staring at the screen in Shock and Horror. Katsuki shoots, "What the fuck does it take too keep that thing down.

While Weiss and Ruby were thankfully unharmed, the same could not be said for Winter and her Ace. Charizard, exhausted from both the prior battle and the explosion, he was now on his last legs.

They were relieved Charizard was ok, but they're all are worried for Winter, especially Weiss and Ironwood


And Winter was by far worse, parts of her outfit had been burned away, with her bare skin now carrying scorch marks on it. Her bun hairstyle had come undone as her hair fell down too her shoulders. If Charizard, was it's last legs, then Winter was barely standing.

Weiss is hugging her sister now, Ruby joins her in holding her down. "Weiss, it's ok, I'm fine." Reassured the Eder sister, Ironwood and Penny are both horrified at the state Alt Winter is in..

While The Ace-ops are Enraged at what the Skeleton Dragon did too they're "friend"

Weiss and Ruby were horrified at the state she was in, with Weiss barely holding in the urge too run over and get her sister to a hospital. But at the roar of Eternatus, now fully energized, they shared a look. They knew what they had too do.

"KICK IT'S BUTT/ASS/BEHIND!" Shouted the Entirity of the younger generation

"Go Cardin/Zwei!" While Weiss had brought out her Dubwool starter, Ruby used the Obstagoon she had caught near the Lake of Outrage. The poor guy was just a little Zigzagoon at the time.

JNPR is laughing at the former bully being a harmless sheep. While RWBY is marveling at Zwei's new form. Except Blake, she's terrified of the Corgi's counterpart.

"Zwei use Facade! Cardin, Body Press! The little Corgi's counterpart obeyed his master, rushing forward to attack the Beast in front of him. The Cotton King was not far behind, getting ready to slam his was into the Dragons chest.

"Their teamwork is quite well." Ozpin commeted with Port and Oobleck agree with him.

Eternatus was not going down without a fight however, firing a blast of fire in their direction. Jumping above the fires, Zwei raised his right claw above him and slammed it into the Mighty Legendary.

RWBY and JNPR are both cheering for Zwei. "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!".

Oh yeah, Present Mic was also screaming cheers. Aizawa is annoyed at that, "Shut up Yamada." He grumbled.

Raising it's injured head, Eternatus was about to fire a Hyperbeam at the Monochrome best. But in doing so it took it's eyes off the other fighter, who used this opportunity to slam into their chest.

"Didn't know a sheep could be that much damage" Joked Taiyang "Don't underestimate a Sheep Tai" Quietly told Qrow, as for why Qrow was defending sheep of all things, lets just say he had a Baaaaad experience with one.

Then when they finally took notice of the slightly injured Dubwool, who had just tanked his way through it's flamethrower. Zwei used this as an opportunity to deliver a powerful Close Combat to his enemy.

Nezu is calculating the odds of them winning if they go on like this, and is starting up a betting pool. The teachers joined in.

Getting sick of the constant annoyances, Eternatus decided to take them both out at once. Gathering a beam of Hyper energy in it's mouth, both Zwei and Cardin kept their eyes trained on where it was going to fire.

All Might is getting worried for both of the two Pokemon, if that Beam hits they're finished.

"I'm still rooting for them, but I really wanna see how Flashy that Beam is." Exclaimed an excited Yuga

So it came as a surprise when it turned around and used Dragon Tail on them both. Although Zwei was mostly alright, Cardin had taken the brunt of the attack and was knocked out by the swing. Too which Weiss returned her faithful friend.

Nezu was greatly surprised by the sudden switch, but acknowledge that it was a clever move. 'Misdirection is a powerful tactic, so it can think for itself.'

Meawhile Yuga groaned in disappointment that he wouldn't get too see the Hyperbeam.

"Thank you Cardin, you did your best. Come out Qrow!" And now appeared her faithful Corviknight, who upon seeing the danger, first decide too save Zwei with a quick Protect. Too which the Obstagoon nodded his head in gratitude.

"It's fitting that your nothing more than a dumb bird Qrow." Mocked Winter "Yeah, well at least I can take a hit Glass Ice-Queen" Mocked back Qrow

Winter lost her smile and quietly stewed in rage.

'I want that bird' Thought Tokoyami at seeing the marvelous form of Alt-Qrow

Upon seeing another opponent, Eternatus decided to intimidate it's new opponents with a quick Screech, followed by a Toxic aimed at the two.

"DODGE!" Tetutetsu screams. Everyone else is covering their ears from the loud screech Eternatus made. "Hope they'll be okay." Shoji said

Fortunately, Zwei jumped atop of Qrow, and the two took to the sky's. Upon rapid fire Toxic's being thrown, Zwei fired off a powerful Ice Beam at the Dragon. While the attack did quite a bit of damage, the main effect of freezing it's target took place. Giving the two Dark types some breathing space.

Everyone was relieved that they're ok. But they're also curious where the battle will be going now.

While Zwei and Qrow were using this time to power up with Hone Claws and Bulk up. Eternatus eventually broke off the cold, and managed to successfully launch a Toxic at them both.

"Oh Crap!" Kirishima screams.

"What does crap mean?" Kota. Eri and the Shimano siblings asked what it means. Glares were sent to the Harden Quirk user form overprotective students.

Now both Zwei and Qrow could feel the Toxic gradually decaying their strength at them, so sharing a look. They both decided to go out with a bang!

Everyone was now pumped on how this will go.

Turning so he was now aiming directly towards Eternatus, Qrow powered up a Revenge and Brave Bird combo, while Zwei got his own combo together of Revenge and Reversal.

"I hate to be on the end of that!" Roman commented as he took a drag of his cigar. 'But I know who I like to get by it.' Neo said through her signs that Wily gave.

"Who?" Oscar asked. Neither of the thieves answered the farm boy's question and just smiled at the thought of Cinder getting hit.

But Eternatus was not just willing to let them attack it without consequence, firing off a Flash Cannon directly into Qrows eyes, causing them to start to steer too the right.

"OH NO!" Screamed Pony Tsutori worry, while both Yang and Ruby were praying for the survival of both they're Uncle and Dog's counterpart.

Qrow frowned in frustration that the Dragon managed too ruin his big moment.

However Zwei started steering his friend back into the proper direction, helping them end up still doing a majority of the original damage to their foe. Eternatus roared in pain and anger at the blow they had given it.

And everyone is happy again with the turnabout. "Would that actually work Principal?" Asked Tsuya

Nezu ran some quick calculations on what the chances of that working are. "Probably not" He admitted.

While the remainder of the poison in their system was enough too knock Zwei out, Qrow still had enough energy too land them close enough to both their partners.

The euphoria of both Zwei and Qrow's safety is felt by everyone, even the criminals are glad they made it safely

Returning both of their Teammates, Weiss and Ruby decided to take it up a notch. "Klein, battle formation!/ Amber, up and out!" Both the Rillaboom and the Rapidash came at their masters sides. "Klein, that monster not only hurt Winter, but it also took out Qrow and Cardin. Be Careful" "Amber, that meanie took out poor Zwei. Avenge him!"Upon hearing those words, the usually calm Rillaboom started to grow enraged at hearing of his comrades defeat.

While both Weiss and Winter are surprised at Klein being a pokemon in this world, they're too busy being frozen in fear due too having Vietnam flashbacks of the few times they managed too anger Klein .

The Illuminati are greatly surprised that the Fall Maiden is a Unicorn in this world.

'Pokemon truly are something else, I wonder if I could ask Wily for one before we leave' Though Cementoss, before dismissing the idea as he wouldn't be able too figure out how too raise it properly on it's own.

Unbeknownst too him, Wily heard his thoughts on getting a Pokemon, and thought of a wonderful idea for him and everyone else.

While the Pink Pony remained calm at hearing of Zwei's defeat, Klein fired off a Noble Roar at the beast for harming his friends. The Eternatus fired off a Hyper Beam in relation for it, too which Amber used a protect to block, and then attacked with Mystical Fire.

"Geez! Is there anything a Pokémon can't do!?" Hanta said.

"Not really." Wily said.

Eternatus could feel that it's vast power was slowly leaving it, it would have to finish this battle soon. With a swift use of Agility and Dragon Dance, Eternatus used a mix of both Assurance and Brutal Swing to take out the pesky Unicorn.

Koda, Eri and the Shimano siblings were now worried for the Pony. "Don't worry, she will be fine." Wily said comforting them. "Let me at the thing." Jiro growled at the screen, glaring at Eternatus for attacking the creatures.

Fortunately, with a combination of Drum Beating and Energy Ball, Klein was able to weaken the Dragons attack enough for his ally to survive the turn.

"Wow, Klein is a real team player!" Uraraka said happily. Weiss and Winter smile, knowing that he's just like that in real life.

Grateful for it's leafy comrades aide, Amber prepared a Future Sight for later, and then went up close with a Tail Whip and Low Kick at the brute. Too which, deciding too take advantage of the civilians in the room, fired off a Dynamax Cannon at the two trainers.

Everybody was now worried for the two. Yang, Tai, Qrow, Winter, Blake and Eri hold Weiss and Ruby in caution. The two struggle to break free.

Amber, noticing the true target of Eternatus, used multiple Agilities and ran off too protect both her trainer and her friend.

Maria figures out what it's doing, and gives a small smile in acknowledgement of her sacrifice.

While Ruby and Weiss could only stare in horror at the impending Doom heading towards them, Amber had arrived just in the nick of time to take the attack.

Mass screams of "Nooo!" land through the Theater. Shouts of vengeance and worry ring out for what Eternatus did too Amber.

"Amber!!!!" Both Ruby and Weiss screamed in horror at the travesty that had taken place. They could only stare with bated breaths praying the Rapidash had survived the attack.

Mina and Kaminari both swore they would kill the dragon it they ever saw it, while Mineta and Momo are worred for Ambers survival.

Although greatly injured, Amber had thankfully been smart enough too cast an Endure just before the Beam made contact with her, giving her enough energy too survive, and still have the power to perform one final move.

Tenya and Oobleck marvel at it's tenacity of both surviving the hit, and having the energy too help one last time. Multiple Screams of PLUS ULTRA are heard.

Ozpin let out a sigh of relief that Amber survived in this World, he hoped the same will happen for the current one.

Thinking carefully, the injured Horse decided too cast Healing Wish, knowing Klein would need it, and then she collapsed, exhausted from the fierce battle she had just partaken in.

Klein, enraged at what just happened had started going Ape-shit on Eternatus. Firing Energy Balls, Leaf Storms, Grass Pledges and Hammer Arms at the monster.

Everyone had started encouraging Klein too kick it's ass, though some have begun to fear it won't work.

Although his assault was doing quite the bit of damage to Eternatus, Klein was rapidly losing energy from the constant usage. Too which the Dragon took notice of, and hit him with a quick Iron Tail to get him off it's back.

"Is Klein going to lose!?" Hagakure said in worry. "Don't worry, I'm sure the two will think of something." Ectoplasm assured her.


Realizing Klein would need, Ruby deiced to bring out her strongest Pokémon. The One she had started her journey with.

Ruby and Co were curious who this is, maybe Yang, since she would always protect her sister.

"Cinder, standby for battle!" And out came Cinder, her Cinderace, who started her appearance with a speedy Flame Charge too get Eternatus's attention onto her.

Nope, while RWBY was disappointed that it wasn't Yang as her Partner, Roman and Neo were barely able too contain they're laughter that they're bitch of a boss was a Rabbit, even if she was a Super powered Rabbit.

Enraged at the endless amount of pokemon attacking her, Eternatus off a Dragon Pulse, hoping it would finally knock out one of them.

"How the hell does it have this much Energy?" Questioned a bewildered Jaune Arc at how insanely powerful this thing was.

"It must be the reason Ironwood's counterpart wanted too use it as a Battery" Theorized Lie Ren

It made sense too the audience, having this much power would be an excellent usage of Energy, especially since no one would really object too the Dragon not being powerful enough too do this stuff anymore.


Although Cinder took the attack well, Klein was badly hurt do too his preexisting injuries, with this attack nearly finishing him off. But then Amber's Healing Wish took affect, restoring him closer too his original power.

"Second Wind" Shouts Nora Valkyrie, too everyone's surprise. "Nora, why did you say that?" Asked Pyrrha "It just felt natural" Nora admitted

Eternatus roared, becoming more and more enraged as the battle went on. Until it was attacked by Future Sight, the last gift of Amber for the battle.

"Eat Shit Asshole!" Shouted Katsuki too Eternatus, much too everyone's internal agreement. Though Midoriya quitly asked him not too swear in front of Eri, which he reluctantly agreed too.

Cinder, having a plan in mind, brought out Sunny Day. Then used a Fire Spin to cause lasting damage. Klein, seeing where this was going, fired off a fully charged Solar Beam, causing immense agony for Eternatus.

"Man, I wish my semblance could do that." Said an jealous Marrow "Don't sweat it Marrow, your Semblance is pretty cool as well." Praised Harriet, too which Marrow thanked her for.

Deciding it didn't care about what happened to it, as long as it could destroy its enemies. Eternatus flew high into the air, and prepared a Giga Impact to hopefully destroy it's opponents once and for all.

"I could take it" Exclaimed Elm, but no-one believed her, not even her Teammates .

Sharing a glance at one another, both Klein and Cinder fired of a Grass and Fire Pledge at their opponent, bringing it down before it's attack could land.

"That would be a lot of property damage if it were in Beacon." Glynda actually joked. Ozpin shudders at the idea for paying for all the damage.

Injured and Exhausted, Eternatus fell onto the ground, unable to continue any longer. The Battle was won.

Everyone burst into cheers and at their win.

"Sorry to burst your bubbles, but it ain't over yet." Wily said.
