Devils Work

Authors Note: I wanted to a a POV for Revenant to make things from the last few chapters make sense and to add spice to it. Thank you for reading and have a great time with imagination! 

Revenants POV: 

The skin bag got water all over themselves. Damn it Loba, do you always have to make a scene? Not to care much I did find it funny just a little. People getting humiliated and made fun of, just a moment of bliss. But only for a moment. I checked on the little brat because I was just curious to see Y/N reaction to the water. Y/N seemed fine so it didn't matter anymore. 

"Demonio, care to dance just this once between enemies?" Loba holds her hand out. 

"Sure, but just between enemies." I take her hand and we walk to the dance floor. 

Loba wasn't that bad of a dancer. Obviously she wanted something because, I doubt she would do something like this without having a weird intent. 

"You care for Y/N don't you?" Loba said catching me almost completely off guard. What the hell makes her think that?!

"What makes you think I care for a sloppy skin suit?" I spit out. If I could that is. 

"Well you went to check no them, hang out with them, and seem to enjoy their company a lot."

"Thats because they aren't as annoying as you, and the rest of the skin bags. You know they don't talk much and keep to themselves." I don't even want to talk about this anymore. 

"Well Revenant, I doubt they would like to see you die. Haven't you thought of that? We have been looking for the location of your source code for a while now. They will be devastated once they find out the one thing to life forever is gone." Loba says as we stop dancing and she walks away. 

God damn it, why didn't that come to mind. Maybe it's just a phase the skin bag is going through. They would never like a murderous being anyways, distance is needed I suppose. 

After the party I get into my usual clothes, or well what is clothes for a robot. Distance from Y/N isn't that bad, I've been alone for centuries, but damn it is fun to watch them question and feel depressed. Human suffering is blissful. But who does Loba think she is? She shouldn't care what I do outside of what happened between me and her. 

The source code, my brain, is the only way I can die, be at peace. I should only focus on that and not some weird person that joined the Apex games. Maybe watching from afar wouldn't hurt though. I climb onto the roof of the ship and crawl over to where Y/N might be. I guess a lot of crap has happened, normally Wattson and Crypto are all over each other. Octane and lifeline are like best friends or close I don't know don't care, but they aren't seen together as much. Seems like once Loba came everyones more different than usual. It's hilarious. 

Finally, found Y/N's room. Luckily the door was open so it was easy to sneak in. I stay on the ceiling for a while. Watch them on their phone, get a few messages and notifications here and there. But once they fell asleep I dropped down from the ceiling quietly and sat by the bed. Damn I haven't been this close to a human in forever it seems, without counting the dancing. 

I get up and walk out of the room closing the door as I try to act like nothing happened. I went to my room and just laid in bed. I mean I don't sleep, I am a robot. I don't need rest or anything. I don't know what to do at night anymore since I never get hits. Oh well, another day another night. 

~Timeskip~

Once it was dawn I walk around the ship, we were already in orbit to Kings Canyon. I guess everyone got on the ship that night. Might as well just walk around the ship. Nothing else better to do. Oh great, someones up, I hear footsteps. I swat down to be more quiet as I step, I turn the corner only to see Loba. I stand up normal and approach her. 

"Hey girlie." I tease. 

"Ugh.." She rolls her eyes. 

She takes a sip of something in her drink and looks very tired. Ha she couldn't sleep. Thats funny.

"What don't like me anymore?" I sit down at a bar stool. 

"I've never liked you demon." She hisses. 

"Right right." I put my hands up in a tease way as if I got arrested. God I hate this, I hate talking and joking like this, its annoying and everyone is just weird with everything. Luckily the games were starting in 30 minutes. Time to have some fun.

~Timeskip~

I was paired with Loba and Wraith. Great just perfect team. Loba is fun to tease, Wraith can't be bothered. But oh well I have to make it work. I look around and see the skin suit. They look tired as hell. I look away and just act like I'm untouched. We start and land at Labs. 

Labs wasn't that big of a drop since everyones chicken. I grab an R-301 and Devotion. They are great guns, easy to control. I grab a level two amour and then some heals. We go to cage once everyone got their crap. I see Wraith get downed so I hurry over there and knocked Y/N. Wow I didn't think this would happened heh. I do a finisher and slice my hand through their chest. 

"Let me watch your face while you go." I take my hand out of their chest and they turn into a death box. Loba picked up Wraith as that happened. We looted and left. I want them to be respawned. 

After a while there was only 3 squads left. We waited before walking to market because we knew there was people there so we waited. Luckily whoever was there left. So we all pushed up and waited for two squads to fight. Not long after we here fighting at salvage. This is gonna be fun. REALLY FUN. I love getting Champion let alone the kills. 

There was only one other squad left. We decided to push out towards them and they I spot Y/N. They were standing on high ground and then quickly left. Good, I get to destroy them. I silenced their abilities and knock Octane. He's so easy to kill. Wraith gets knocked and for some reason disconnected. Loba then gets knocked. Good just up to me and Y/N. I laser them with the devotion and then they hide. Cute. Once they come out they get my shields and me half health. But I won, nothing unusual. Good game skin bag.
