Club was everything that Jungkook loved and hated.

Music loud enough to drown his thoughts, various scents strong enough to make him nauseous. If it wasn't for Taehyung promising on his soul that he could better Jungkook's mood, the young man wouldn't have stepped foot in this place.

"You need to relax", his best friend shouted over the bass. Jungkook sighed and ran a hand through his unkempt hair.

No, what Jungkook needed was go and study and get good marks and stay away from such wilderness. He needed to prove to Seokjin that he was responsible and mature, worthy of standing by his side.

In the week that followed his confession and their subsequent talk, Seokjin has been meeting him every day. Though it was still as friends catching up on their three years apart (mixed with a little bit of awkwardness), Jungkook had felt warmth light up in his chest at every curve of those plum lips and every blush that bloomed on those bread cheeks thanks to his shameless compliments.

But despite all these cute things, their relationship hasn't progressed. And it seems that after waiting for three years, Jungkook's patience has finally decided to leave him.

"Where have you been this week? There's been so many offers of parties for you!"

Jungkook looked up at his other friend, knowing full well what he was talking about. Taehyung had graciously (and dramatically) told Jungkook how many girls wanted him to attend their parties now that he could finally drink.

"He's been meeting someone", Taehyung winked at the crowd of college students, "every day."

A loud round of "ooh"s and wolf whistling gyrated painfully on Jungkook's ears. Taehyung obviously picked up on his discomfort.

"You guys continue, I'll take our Kookie outside for a bit."

Taehyung did not wait for complaints and dragged Jungkook away by his hand.

"Sorry, did I speak too much?"

Jungkook must have been making a pretty sour face for Taehyung to sound so guilty, "No, it's okay. It's not like no one knows that I have been pining after a man for years."

He had to tell the nosy bastards the real reason for rejecting confessions of both men and women. "I'm not ready" worked only till the third semester.

"Most of them think your Jin hyung is just a figment of your imagination", Taehyung cackled. Jungkook huffed out a laugh.

No way any imagination could be this pretty.

"I can hear you swooning over him."

Jungkook then smirked, the two finally coming to standing near the entrance where the crowd was less dense, "He's worth swooning over."

"I see", Jungkook hummed distractedly at Taehyung's answer before his friend started hitting his bicep, "No, Jungkook. I see."

The younger frowned and looked up. Taehyung was looking near the entrance with his mouth hanging open. As Jungkook followed his gaze curiously, his own jaw hit the floor.

There stood Kim Seokjin in pretty clothes that shouldn't be allowed to be worn by such a pretty man.
