Friends With Benefits

Chapter 3

"Soooo.....how was it?" Amy stood in front of me as I packed my things. Amy has been my best friend like forever - asides from Luke that is.

"What are you talking about?" She's been asking me that question the moment the bell rang. I like to believe that my friend had learned how to speak Marsian without me knowing.

"Oh C'mon! You of all people know what I'm talking about. Luke....you know, living a movie?" She grinned as if she's just seen her idol.

"What? Will you stop running around the bush and tell me straight because my tiny feet are so tired trying to catch you." I got up and headed to the door.

"I know that Luke and you had morning sex every Friday, I'm not a moron you know." And Amy really had to mention that. "Oh.....that....." My voice trailed off as I tried to swallow the lump that has formed in my throat. She might be my BFF but I have no intend of sharing my you know what life with her. Weird....

"What's weird?" I almost fell onto my knees when Luke seductively kissed me which seemed took like forever to finish. Blushing, I turned around to face the awkwardly grinning Amy. "Nothing and what did I say about kissing in school?" Luke just shrugged before facing Amy. "Tell me, is she PMS-ing? She's been scolding me ever since morning." I felt my eyeballs rolling out of their sockets when Luke literally said the words. I was about to hit him square in the head when Amy laughed like there was no more tomorrow. 

"S-sorry!" She said in between laughs. "Seriously!" Embarrassed and well, annoyed, I stomped off out the room and went straight to my locker. Since it was already lunch time, I decided to dump all my books at the rusty thing and headed towards the cafeteria. 

"Boo! Wait!" I heard Luke call out as he ran towards me. I threw him a glare before ignoring him. "Aw! Don't get mad at me. Hey were are you going?" He said. "To Jake." Why I said that was beyond my understanding. 

I felt Luke stop in his tracks. I thought he was finally going to stop chasing me but I was hell wrong. The next thing I knew, I was already thrown up on his shoulders with me screaming my lungs out.

"Put me down! Dammit, Luke! Put me f*cking down!" I punched his back but it seems to me that it didn't even bother him. Luke didn't say anything and just continued walking, checking every classroom that we passed by. When he tried opening the 10th door that we've passed by, it cracked open and Luke went inside, not forgetting to lock it before putting me down.

"What-!" I wasn't able to finish whatever I was about to say when Luke crashed his lips to mine. The kiss was harsh and demanding at first but as I started to play fire with fire, it slowly became soft and caring but the need was still there. When Luke broke the kiss, we were both panting for air. 

"I'm sorry." It was Luke who broke the silence. "Sorry?" I asked as he took a step back and carried me towards one of the tables and settled me there. "Yeah, I know you were embarrassed with what I did back there." He asked, pushing some loose strand behind my ear. 

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion.

"Well, for once, I kissed you in front of Amy and in a place where there were so many people looking - I know that you don't really like telling the world about our set-up." My heart melted at his words. 

"Luke! I wasn't mad because of that, I was - well, you of all people should know that I am NOT PMS-ing right now." I playfully glared at him which caused him to laugh. "You're right." Luke pecked my lips before taking a step back and offered his hand to me. I stared at it for awhile before taking it. 

"Boo, let's go eat. I'm starving." Luke said as I just shook my head and unlocked the door. "When were you not?" I teased. "Hey! I'm a growing boy!" He defended which just caused me to laugh even more.

"Okay! That's all for today everyone!" Our trainer shouted as the music went dead. "Aw! Finally!" I heard Amy scream as we stretched our sore muscles. "I love dancing but sometimes, it pretty much sucks!" I laughed at her whining as we went over to where our bags were. "Well, you have me on your list. My body feels like it's been beaten up!" 

"Hey, Em." Amy and I turned to the voice that spoke from behind us. My eyebrow lifted once Jake's shy image greeted us. "What do you want Hemmings?" I asked in a cold tone. The sting of his cheating escapade still burned me every time I thought of it. "Um...."

"Boo!" Luke's rather enthusiastic voice boomed though the whole mirrored room, making everyone who's still inside look at him. "Finally, you're done! Come on, you too Amy, we want to try that new arcade near by." Luke said as he, along with his best friends,  went inside raiding the whole room. 

"Luke-"

"Greyson! Get the fuck out of my practice room!" We heard Mrs. White swore from her office which was connected to the room itself. "Yes ma'am!" Luke and his fellas shouted in union while the rest of us were left laughing as we heard Mrs. White utter a chain of curses but didn't bother going out of her room. 

"Yeah, sure. Amy, come on!" I held her wrist and dragged her out of the room leaving Jake inside.

Hello lovies! It's almost been a year since I last updated due to some problems. Well, I forgot my password and since I haven't reached Kitty at all...I was left suffering. Seems like this story is all on me now and it was just today that my brother finally cracked the code. So thanks to him!
