Alarm rings

"aahhh i so hate Mondays," i mutter

For once i didn't hear my mother scream my name. Which is a huge relief

I get up and do my morning routine, dress up and head for breakfast.

Surprisingly being a Monday, I'm too excited. Perhaps I'm catching a flu or something. Anyways let's see how the day goes.

Both Renee and i arrive in school together and head for our classes.

For some reason I really wanted to meet Nigel today, and I haven't seen him since morning.

I'll just text him later after classes.

The rest of the day goes really well and finally what every student waits for, in 3...2...1...

"aahhh yes, the sweet sound of the bell"i say to myself.

" what's up girl," Mia greets me.

" good, what's new? "

" I'm having a girls sleepover over the weekend , come with Renee. Don't worry my brother is out of town." she winks and takes a leave.

Mia and I are good friends, but her brother Xavier just gives me the creeps, though we have a good vibe... Sometimes

" hey Renee, weekend at Mia's, sleepover. And no, he's not in town. "

" whyyyy, he's an Adonis. I really wanted to see him." Renee whines

"get satisfied with Carl woman,"

"yeah yeah yeah whatever. It's not like we're together or something."

"keep telling yourself that."

We bid our goodbyes and go our separate ways

Finally the week is over and i didn't even meet Nigel once, does he even attend my school....It's so weird .

Now i have to prepare my date with Nigel plus the sleepover.

'Mmhhmm has there been any weekend i have ever stayed home' i think to myself.. 'nop' i answer myself

Nigel told me to wear something comfortable.. Mmhmm so what do i wear

No one can ever go wrong with sweatpants. I choose a pair of  Grey sweatpants with a crop hoodie and sneakers.

That's as comfortable as i can get.

I pack the pj's I'll carry. After my date with Nigel I'll have him drop me at Mia's

He texts me he's outside and i take my leave. At this point my parents have given up on me being out every weekend.
As long as my grades are good and I'm on my best behavior, what's the issue.

"you look beautiful," Nigel compliments.

"thank you," i blush

Hold it up there Brianna, since when do you blush. I need to take it slow
Deep breaths girl.. Deeep breaths

"so where are we going?" i ask him

"it's a surprise, and you've worn the best attire," he says and winks

He starts the car and we arrive at an arcade

"i always wanted to go to an arcade!" i say excitedly and jump on my seat.

Nigel looks at me and smiles

That's when I realize what i just did.

"sorry, i ummm tend to get too excited sometimes."
