Hidden Feelings {On Hold}

A Rainy Day

Karkat's P.O.V.

Your name is Karkat Vantas and right now you could honestly care less if someone came into your hive and saw you crying. You are on your couch watching an amazingly well written Rom-con. It was raining outside and you could hear the drops of water falling from the sky and hitting the roof of your hive. As of right now the female troll was crying on the steps to her hive because her lusus won't let her be matesprites with another troll because he's a low blood.

You were now a complete sobbing wreck. You had tissues every where and your hair was all out of place. You where curled into a blanket and hugging a pillow like you where holding onto it for dear life. Suddenly, you hear a knock on the door to your hive. "Fuck..." you mumble as you pause the movie and get up from your comfty yet damp spot on the couch. You trudge over to the door and open it ever so slightly to see, the one and only, Egbert.

"What the hell do you want?" you asked him with a tint of anger in your voice from disturbing your movie. John was soaked from all the rain, but he didn't seem to mind all that much. "Karkat," John started, "why do you have red tear marks on your face?" You didn't feel like putting up with any of his bullshit today. You just turned around and walked back into your hive, leaving the door wide open. You sat back on the couch and tried to pick up some of the tissues. "Karkat?" John asked again, coming into your hive and closing the door behind him.

"Cod! I was just watching a Rom-con fuckass!" you yelled at him, now completley annoyed. "Oh, I thought something bad might have happened!" he smiled and sat next to you on the couch. "Something bad did happen!" you pointed at the TV. "Her lusus won't  let her be with another troll because he is a low blood!" John looked at the screen and just started giggling like it was something amusing. "Why the hell are you laughing? It's supposed to be sad!" 

He just continued to giggle. Finally after about a minute of his constant giggling, he spoke up. "Karkat, I think you take Rom-cons a little to seriously!" he then started to break into a laughing maniac and fell to the floor, almost crying from how much he was laughing. I simply just sat there and frowned as my face grew hot from embaresment. "I do not!" I shouted at him. He got back onto the couch and wipped away a tear from his eye. "Whatever you say." I groaned and looked back at the TV, unpausing it returning back to my crying state. 

A few minutes whent by and I could tell that John was interested. He had also managed to scoot closer to me and was now under blanket and laying his head on my shoulder. I didn't really acknowledge it too much since I was mostly focased on the movie. The female troll had managed to get out of her hive late at night without her lusus knowing and was meeting with the other troll. They had agreed to run off together to a place where no one would ever judge them for being matesprites when their blood colors where so different. 

--~TIME SKIP~--

The movie just ended and the credits where rolling through. I yawned and looked over at John who was fast asleep on my shoulder. I decided not to yell since I was incrediably sleepy. My eyes started to slowly close as everything around me started to blur and before I knew it, I was in a deep sleep.

So this is my first story on my new account and I am honestly impressed with how this first chapter turned out! I know it may be a little sloppy but I'll just fix all the errors later. (if I'm not feeling lazy that day...) Anyway, I hope you enjoyed and will continue to read! :0)
