Why does the notification
that you send
bring too much jubilation?
My feelings blend.

It draws smiles
on my face.
From faraway miles,
in a different place.

When you're away,
you're still near.
I won't lose my way
despite my fear.

My heart beats loud.
The beats play a rhyme
between the crowd.
My stolen heart's crime.

Muscles tense
when I hear your name.
Doesn't make sense,
it's not you that I blame.

The time is gone
from when I replied.
My heart won,
but to you, I lied.

The feeling was not real.
The difference between like and love
confused me with its zeal
brought me to the sky and above.

It was all an illusion,
built up in my head.
Not petrified of seclusion,
let the rumours spread.

The girl who breaks the heart
of the people who care.
Not her fault from the start
that they made her eyes tear.

The truth must unfold
to all the people who judge.
To the souls who told
that the girl holds a grudge.

She's not the breaker,
she's the broken.
The boy was a taker,
holding her like a token.
