Before I had a chance to sit down on the couch, Amirah started talking.

"There's so much I want to tell you and talk about. I don't know where to start!" I laughed and waited for her to continue. "Well first off, did you know I was the one who signed up Kassam for Casa Amour?" I looked at her in shock and said, "I had no clue, why did you sign him up?"

"Ugh, he's never been good at dating. Ya he used dating apps and he always chatted with a lot of girls but he never tried to meet up with any of them or actually dated them, he always claimed he was too busy DJ'ing to make time for dates. In reality I think he just never clicked with any of the girls he chatted with. Kassam can be quite picky and closed off as you know." I smirked and said, "ya, he's definitely the quiet type, but that's one of the many things I love about him." She quickly continued, "So, anyways we'd been watching Love Island from the start. The moment you came in and told the girls you were a drummer in a band, I just knew you'd be perfect for Kassam. He needs someone passionate about music and I could tell right away that was you. I pointed you out to Kassam right away. I was all like Kassam, look at this girl Fiona, she seems really cool and loves music too. He just shrugged his shoulders and kept on doing something on his phone. Then the day that Lucas and Henrik came into the villa and you were awake before all the others, you went into the roof terrace with your drumsticks and started playing a beat on the table in front of the benches...that was the moment that caught Kassam's attention. He was in the kitchen when he heard it, I was of course in the living room watching the show, he practically came running in and asked me what was that sick beat. I said oh that's just Fiona, ya know that hot drummer girl I said you should pay attention to. He turned away and went back into the kitchen without saying anything but I noticed a grin on his face as he walked away. From that day anytime the show was on, he sat right beside me and we watched together. I kept asking him who he liked on the show and what he thought of you. He would say Lottie seemed cool, and he said you seemed cool too but not his type and he didn't really think he was your type either. I kept thinking to myself, WTF bro...Fiona is so you!! I knew y'all would be great together. I didn't get why he didn't see it. Well a few more days passed and it seemed like you and Rahim were really hitting it off, you'd been with him from the start and everyone watching could tell y'all had a spark. But Lottie on the other hand, wasn't really getting serious with anyone," she sighed and looked lost in thought for a moment.

I felt like she was waiting for me to talk about my time in the Villa before Casa Amore. I wondered if she thought I still had feelings for Rahim or if she just wanted someone to chat about the show with. I felt like I needed to say something or clear the air, "ya those first few days/weeks Rahim and I were really strong. We got on well, but I never felt like I was falling for him. We were compatible and enjoyed each other's company. There was definitely a physical connection, but not a lot of emotions involved."

This seemed to snap her out of her thoughts. She continued to tell me about how her and Kassam continued to watch the show together, "I thought it was so cool how anytime you'd had a bad day or the drama of the Villa got to you, you went onto the terrace with your drumsticks and just jammed when no one was watching. It reminded me of how Kassam gets with his music, you know, how he likes to lie back and listen to his tracks to help sort out his memories. Kassam noticed it too, during one of your private jam sessions, I noticed Kassam moving his feet to match your beat and he started to drum along with his hands. I called him out on it, I was like so you still don't think Fiona is your type or that you and her would get along. He just rolled his eyes at me...call Twintution, but I could tell he was into you, he was falling for you without even realizing it. I didn't get why when he got to Casa Armour he said he was into Lottie. When I saw him say that I wanted to jump through the screen and smack him. But then my twintution kicked in again, Kassam was one of the last guys to say who he was into, all the guys wanted you, you and Rahim seemed like such a good couple, he chose Lottie because she was more likely to fall for him...Lottie wasn't in a serious relationship with the other guys, she was in friendships the whole time, none of the other guys at CA wanted Lottie, she was an easier option. Kassam didn't think he stood a chance with you because of how popular you were with the other guys. He also hates confrontation and drama so he figured if he hooked up Lottie he wouldn't have to deal with anyone. "

I looked at her in shock. I'd always wondered why he was so into Lottie. I mean obviously I was able to turn his head, but a part of me was always questioning, why Lottie? Now I understood why.

She continued to tell me more, "I was so happy that you kept talking to Kassam and trying to win him over. The look on Arjun's face when you told him you wanted to chat to Kassam instead of him was priceless. When y'all were finished talking on the day beds and he pulled you up and y'all held hands for a minute, then he laughed and smiled at you...I knew it..."

"Knew what?" I asked.

"That I was right, that y'all were perfect for each other. I knew that Kassam was starting to get feelings for you. Even though he kept insisting on sticking with Lottie, it was obvious that he was more into you. You obviously felt it too because you kept stealing little moments like that with him...making him blush by running your hands down his back, volunteering for the lap dance, sucking on his toe, which was so gross to watch by the way." I laughed, "ya that was awkward."

She kept going.."Then the seven minutes in heaven when y'all shared that passionate kiss...my heart was literally melting. I was so relieved that Kassam finally admitted that he thought you were hot and really wanted to kiss you. I felt like I was falling in love with you too...I could feel Kassam's feelings for you growing. I knew you won him over during the brunch on the last day. When he started playing some music with the champagne glasses and drumming a beat and you matched his rhythm flawlessly...it was like watching magic happen. It was such a beautiful moment and another sign that y'all were perfect for each other."

I loved hearing about our time in Casa Amore from an outside perspective, and who better to tell me than the person who knew Kassam the best, his twin sister. Kassam and I never really talked about CA once I brought him back to the villa. It was great chatting with her, I felt like I got a lot of answers from her and reassurance that Kassam and I were meant to be. I could tell she really liked me and she was genuinely happy for us. We continued to chat for a little way longer until Kassam walked in..."Amirah, y'all have been in here forever, can I have Fiona back now? We gotta head back to my place for something." Amirah looked at him with a smirk on her face and said' "oh ya I'm sure y'all do have something to do at your place....alright, bye Fiona. We will chat again later." She winked at me and walked back into the kitchen.

Kassam held out his hand to help me off the couch, we walked back into the kitchen and said our goodbyes, then headed to the car to drive to his place.
