"I'm so sorry that no one asked you to the dance." Cedar said as she stepped out from behind a privacy screen, dressed in a beautiful purple and gold dress. Her eyes went wide when she saw that Cerise was completely dressed in a vibrant red and black plaid gown. "I thought you weren't going."

"I wasn't." Cerise said with a small smile.

"Someone asked you?" Cedar began to bounce with excitement.

    "Nope!" Cerise laughed.

    "Then what's changed?"

"I don't know." She paused before continuing. "I guess it's just a newfound hope... that I might possibly be asked."

"I hate to break it to ya, but it's a little late for that, sweetie." She walked to the mirror and began fixing her hair. "But you can wait to be asked to dance while you're there."

"You know what I meant." Cerise whacked Cedar's arm with a hairbrush playfully.

"Welp, I hope whoever he is, asks you to dance. Until then, let's talk about Raven. Everyone acted so surprised when she left the stage without signing. But I saw that coming from a mile away. And you cannot honestly tell me you didn't either."

"No, it was pretty obvious that was going to happen."

"Exactly, like what was all the gasping about?"
