A lot had changed at Ever After High in the last year. After Headmaster Grimm's outburst, people began to notice he wasn't that stable. He was soon put in an insane asylum. For a while, the White Queen took over as interim headmaster, but it really wasn't her cup of tea.

That's why, as Cerise stepped up to the balcony to get her diploma, Giles Grimm was waiting for her. After about a week of the White Queen as headmaster, Maddie had finally coaxed Giles out of his secret library.

The White Queen did have to stay in a position to help the new headmaster though, seeing as he only spoke Riddlish. The next generation of Ever After High students would be in for a real treat. Students no longer had to follow their parents' stories. It also turns out, that most of the students in Ever Ater High became happier when they found that they could choose their own true loves.

Cerise looked out over the crowd. She smiled at the graduation gowns of those who had already gotten their diplomas. Her eyes scanned the crowd and landed on Apple. Apple gave her a thumbs up. Apple was now proof that anything can happen.

She was the one person that everyone thought was least likely to get over her story. But now Apple still gave hope to everyone. Showing them that finding love without a story is possible for anyone... Yes, Apple had found someone other than Daring to give her heart to.

This is why she was holding hands with Humphrey Dumpty. The egg-like boy had had a crush on Apple since Legacy Year. A lot of other loves had bloomed as well. Briar was now with Hopper.

Cerise stepped forward and took her diploma. She then rushed down the stage to see the last two students waiting.

"My Feathered Friend!" Giles called as he read the name off the list. Raven moved forward, took her diploma, then joined the others in the front row. "The King of Fluffy Card Decks!" The White Queen had to translate this one.

"Dexter Charming." She said sweetly. Dexter jogged up the stairs and took his diploma. After shaking Giles's hand, he sat down next to Raven.

"Small and quaint a cake's head am I. Grown all the trees in time you fly." He said with a giant smile. "To dream a rose to full bloom come, until every after time is done!" The White Queen looked at him quizzically. She didn't entirely understand. After all, Riddlish wasn't an exact language.

"Congratulations class of the New Age!" The White Queen beamed. "May you all live happily ever after." At this, the class tossed their graduation caps and cheered. High school was over. But there would be new stories to come.

As Cerise looked around at all her friends, she noticed Daring running to the stage and saying something to the White Queen. She nodded and smiled, then signaled for everyone to quiet down.

"Can I get Cerise up here?" Daring said from the podium. Cerise looked at him questioningly. She joined Daring on the stage. "I knew from the moment I danced with you on Thronecoming last year... that you were my true love." He got down on one knee.

Cerise instantly realized what he was doing. She covered her mouth to keep from squealing with excitement. "I now know that I never want to be apart from you." He continued. A single tear left Cerise's eye as he pulled out a ring. "Cerise Hood. Would you do the honor of marrying me?"

Cerise looked over to her parents, they smiled and nodded. "Yes, yes!" she said, holding out her left hand. Daring slipped the beautiful ring onto Cerise's finger and pulled her into a kiss. Everyone cheered.

Daring and Cerise were married less than a year later in the enchanted forest beside Ever After High, under the tree that Daring had first confessed his love to Cerise. Daring left the kingdom to Dexter and moved into a cabin in the woods with Cerise. There, they lived happily ever after.

The End.
