Chapter 8

Jade's POV

When I walk outside, the last thing I expected is for Trina Vega to hug me. But that's what she does, so I give her an awkward pat on the back as she hugs me.

"Thank you Jade, Thank you so, so much" She says.

I am still extremely confused, why is she thanking me?? What did I do??
Well, it must be something important if Trina is hugging me.

"Trina?? What's going on?? Why are you thanking me???"

"You brought Tori home, and I'm just so thankful."

"No"

"No?"

"No, there's another reason your so thankful."

"um, no there's not."

"Fine." I said

"What??" she asked.

"There's clearly something your not telling me, but mark my words, Trina Vega, I. Will. Find. Out."

"Ugh, fine, but you can't tell anyone, and don't tell Tori that I told you."

"I swear"

"Ok, um, Tori has depression." She blurts out.

"What??" I ask, but my mind is spinning, Tori Vega?? Depression?? So the whole Suzie sunshine personality is an act???

"I know you heard me Jade."

"Um, Wow, that was...          
unexpected."

"Please don't tell Tori that I told you."

"Trina, chill, I already told you, I won't."

Trina looks more relaxed now that I said that I won't tell. But in that moment, I don't know why, but my mind decided to do anything just to see Tori Vega smile.

Tori's POV

While Trina and Jade are outside talking, me and Jason are watching cartoons. They are taking such a long time so me and Jason went into the kitchen to get some snacks. That's when I saw something that I never thought was possible, I saw Trina hugging Jade. And more surprisingly, Jade didn't push her away or anything.

Now I was really curious about what they were talking about, because Jade doesn't let ANYONE touch her. Well, there was that time when I patted her down, and when we were in the play together, and also a few other times. Huh, I've never noticed that before. I touch Jade a lot, and she doesn't really push me away.

After I get more snacks for me and Jason, we go back to the living room and I turn on the tv. I put on some random cartoons for Jason to watch but my mind was wandering torwards what Trina and Jade were talking about.

Suddenly I felt really tired, so I closed my eyes for a few seconds...

Jade's POV

I was about to ask Trina how long Tori had been like this when Jason runs into the yard.

"Jason, I told you to stay with Tori." I said.

"Jade, come" He said.

"Hey kid, Me and your sister are trying to talk, so why don't you go back inside with Tori." said Trina.

"I can't, she fell asleep."

"Did you wake her up Jason??"

"Well, um..." He trailed off.

I looked at Trina and she looked really worried.

I ran into the living room, and she was there, but she was so pale.

"Vega, wake up!" I said.
"Vega!!! WAKE UP!!"
"VEGA WAKE UP, PLEASE!"

"Trina!!!" I shouted.

I swear, I've never seen Trina Vega run so fast.

"She won't wake up" I said, I was really worried.

"We have to get her to the hospital, now"
"Jade, Call an ambulence." Trina said.

"Me?? Why can't you??"

"She will feel better knowing you called."

"What??? Why???"

"Because Tori likes you, even if she doesn't show it."

At those words, I suddenly felt apreciation towards Tori. Despite what everyone thinks I do like Tori, maybe a little to much. I mean, how could I not?? She was beautiful and sweet. But The real reason was because Tori is the only person who hasn't given up on me.

I quickly call an ambulence and when it arrives I tell Trina that me and Jason will meet her in the hospital. As I drive there, nothing else matters anymore, just Tori's health.
