SI interview:
"Mr. Stark it's great to hear that you are expanding Stark Industry's to medical assistants, but as everyone is thinking. Why the sudden change in interest?"
Tony pulled down the glasses that were on his head. "Well John, John? Ima call you John" Tony continues, not letting the reporter respond. "I believe that hospitals are at a rough patch right now, and that not everyone is getting the help they need. When you're crazy rich like me why not try to make life a tiny bit easier for everyone else?"
"What Tony is trying to say-" Steve interrupts. "Is that Stark Industry's has the money and resources to not only have expensive equipment. But also give more people the ability to seek medical assistance without having to go bankrupt."
All the reporters clapped. Maybe not because they cared about what Steve had to say, but for the very reason that he was an important man. Meaning what ever he had to say was also important.
"Umm Mr. Stark it's been brought to our attention that your son has graduated the top of his class at Midtown School of Science and Technology. What confused at lot of people is why he's never been seen on campus or anywhere else really?"
Steve and Tony shared a look. Both men had expected a question like this. "Well, our son has been doing all his work at home, he's even been in-rolled at a University and has been taking their corses."
"All due respect no one even knows his name." A young reported butted in.
"Could this change in SI be a possible cover up for a change in CEO? At your age surely your heir is trained to take over be company?"
"All due respect?" Tony scoffed.
"Well quit frankly I didn't know our personal lives were your business. So, i'm sorry that we don't think that it's important to make your son public knowledge. Nor is the potential of your son in relation to Stark Industries. When that decision is made the public will be notified." Tony retorted back, unamused.
Everyone could see that the topic was one of sensitivity, and that speaking ill of their son had annoyed the engineer. "I know this isn't what you want to hear, but please respect our wishes as parents. We know of the rumors going around about our child. And it hurts to see how the media could turn on someone they know nothing about. He's a sweet kid and he isn't one for attention or fame. So, we decided that we would keep him from the public eye."
As calm and collected as Steve spoke you could tell that he was furious. The soldier had a look in his eyes that no man could stand up against. Like a mama bear prepared to kill for her cubs. Steve, who had enough, got up and left not looking to see if his husband would follow. Tony sat still for a second before getting up, putting his sunglasses on, and announcing the end of the interview.
This only fueled more stories about the unsuspecting boy.
