*TW: mentions and descriptions of death*
.
.
.
She felt herself falling, not just to the ground but into the darkness
.
Arms wrapped around her and gently guide her down to the mossy forest floor
.
He was there, he was holding her
.
She could hear him cry her name, his voice desperate and broken
.
She felt his body crumple against her as he was wracked with sobs
.
With her last moments rushing towards her she reached her hand up and pressed it against his cheek
.
She smiled and in her eyes he could see the future they would not have
.
The life they would not live
.
The adventures that would never come to be
.
And he smiled one last reassuring smile
.
Letting her know it was ok
.
He would be ok
.
She could sleep
.
And so she did, the light leaving her eyes, and her body going stiff
.
He shattered, and let out a noise so inhuman and tragic even the gods looked away
.
Because she was gone
.
And things would never be the same.
.
There would never be a happy ending
.
Not for them
.
And so I let him go, I let him grieve, and I watched as he said those last words to the body growing cold in his arms
.
"Goodnight my dear. When you wake up, it will seem nothing more than a dream. but sleep well, and do dream of us. never forget the great adventures we have had, they were so very great."
|| Hi! This is my very first Wattpad story (if you can even call it that), so let me know what you think! Sorry it was so short, I though id give it a go and try to put something out there. If you have any advice for someone just starting out, id love to hear it. If you have a second, make sure to like and vote! Ok, that's all for now, thanks for reading.||

Aktuelle Literaturthis is an emotional collection of tragic death scenes I'm working on. There are painful separations, heart wrenching last words, partners left to deal with the aftermath, lots of tears, and above all...lots of death. **TW mentions and descriptions...
