It's been two days since she left and I have locked myself inside my study refusing to see anyone even when Mel came by I didn't want to see her . I was devastated.
I was angry with myself that I didn't arrive home before that person sent the pictures to Anne.
I phoned her friends house on the day that she left and her friend assured me that she was with her .
I was instantly relieved that she was safe and sound.
But I needed to see her soon . We have to clear the tension between us before she left for Uni . I did not know whether she would prefer to live in the mansion or rent an apartment near the NYU. I really do hope that it's the former.
Within a few minutes of going through some documents and drinking a glass of scotch, my study phone began to ring . I picked up quickly knowing who was calling .
"Hello!" I said
"Sir , she is alone at the moment . They al left the house just a couple of minutes ago", the person at the other end said.
"Thank you, Steve ",with that being said I placed the phone back in its cradle.
I smiled devilishly as I went to my room to get ready for this very important meeting that I had.
