Zach immediately stands up from his seat and rushes over to Justin. "Yo, dude!" I stand up from the table me, Scott, Zach and Clay were sitting at. I shove Zach out of the way and I embrace Justin in a hug. I pull away from the hug and we both have ear to ear smiles but then familiar arms wrap around my waist and Scott kisses me on the cheek. "Oh.. that's cool! you guys are a thing now?" He points between me and Scott. "Oh yeah." I giggle. Zach then takes his chance and picks Justin up in A huge hug. "Jealousy doesn't look good on you." I turn around to face him and I hold his face in my hands. "I don't want anyone else." He smiles down at me. "Okay."

I kiss him. "Youre perfect"

I smile. "So ive heard."

he rolls his eyes playfully. "Is it too early to say I love you?"

I shake my head and my smile widens. We both lean in and smile into the kiss.

- weeks later -

Scott and I walk into the Spring fling.. infront of us I see Clay, Justin, Alex and Jessica.. that's something I never thought I'd see.. "oh! Hey Rae! Scott.." Clay greets me, I smile. "You, look amazing." Jessica hugs me. "You guys look great together." Justin smiles at me, "thank you, Justin."

'The night we met comes on' oh shit.. "hey, I-imma go find Clay.. I'll be right back." I walk over to the dance floor and I see Clay there. I embrace him in a hug and Tony, Jessica, Alex, Ryan, And Courtney join us. Clay sobs into my shoulder as the song continues.

"Justin! Find Jessica. Get everyone you can. Lock the doors. Stay inside. And don't call the police! I gotta find Tony!" Clay exclaims,  And with that he runs off. "What the fuck! Clay!" Clay continues off. The music goes on and Justin runs to go look for Jessica. I start to get worried. Scott pats his lap for me to go sit on. I do. He wraps his arms around me and he nuzzles his head in my crook of my neck. I bite my nails nervously as my leg bounces up and down. Justin and Jessica run back inside. "Fucking god! Tyler... he-he has a gun... a big one.. he's gonna shoot up the school!" He pants in between breaths but not loud enough for anyone else to hear. Zach freaks out and calls the cops. I let out a whimper and tears threaten to spill out of my eyes. "I won't let anything bad happen to you." Scott assures me, i overthink and i think about all the bad stuff that could happen to Clay, i think about everything he's done for me and i dart up, off of Scott's lap, he grabs my wrist but i run outside, "you dont fucking know anything about me." i hear Tyler say to Clay, i try to be quiet as i walk over to them, trying not to startle them, my heel gets caught on my dress and i trip and fall down the last step. i mentally curse myself, but before i could do anything else, i heard a gunshot.
