The story begins with Asumi in Nodoka's house while she is out of town. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and around the neighborhood, there are younger children playing outside and having a wonderful time. Asumi is sitting comfortably in the bedroom while brushing Latte's fur and tying her two ears into the same lilac ribbons she always loves.
Asumi: There we go, just as you like it Princess Latte.
Latte: Arf! Arf! She is smiling happily.
Asumi: Sighs. If only it were that easy to go back to the Healing Garden so I can bring you home.
Latte: She sees Asumi's face and puts her paw on her hand, indicating she wants to use the stethoscope.
Asumi: Huh? You want to say something? She takes out the stethoscope and places it by Latte's heart.
Latte's heart: Latte really hopes that mama is doing alright~latte. She doesn't want her to get hurt in the kingdom more than it was near destruction~latte.
Asumi: That's why your mother sent me here. To protect you for the time being until we reach the point of going back to the Healing Garden so the Cures can fight the Byogens and you will be returned back home safely.
Latte's heart: It's going to be hard to be separated from everyone though. They are the reason why Latte started to become stronger~latte.
Asumi: She pets Latte's head gently. I'm sure we will find a way to reunite in the future if anything happens.
As the two are talking, Latte's diamond heart begins to glow yellow and she sneezes.
Asumi: Princess Latte!
Latte's heart: Hurry up... the Byogens are returning. We have to find the others~latte!
Asumi: She nods and picks up Latte, before the two head outside the house. Let's go!
Latte: Arf!
And so Asumi places the elemental bottle around Latte's pink bow, and their transformation process begins...
Both: Let's begin!
Asumi: Pretty Cure... Operation!
Latte: Elemental Level Up~latte!
Both: Cure Touch! During the transformation process, Asumi's hair is let loose and changes to the same purple color, while she transforms into her magical girl dress and tiara, before taking her harp and strums it gracefully. The two winds that connect through time!
Earth: Cure Earth!
Latte: Arf!
Earth: Now where are they?
Latte: She sniffs and she barks loudly so she can show where each Cure is hidden, before running.
Earth: Got it! She follows her, and this is when the quest begins.
